This space is an ever-evolving labor of love and designed as a cozy stay for Family, Friends, Volunteers and Guests. Our vision began in 2019 with the purchase of the farmhouse and nursery. The adjacent land was purchased separately with dreams of farming and creating magical gardens, and views, an oasis for birds and guests and growing native trees. This property reflects our passion for native plants and trees, edible gardens and low maintenance landscapes. We practice farming, residential landscape and design. We support out local economies through sustainable tourism and employment. We enjoy highlighting local art, food and food practice and navigating the intricacies and responsibilities of a 10-acre property. In late 2024, our final installation of irrigation infrastructure will provide our farm and nursery a much-needed asset. We have begun earnestly rehabilitating our soils adding buckwheat and clover and wild grasses to our main field. We hope to increase future food production and farming and add additional farm animals. We are that much closer to realizing our goal of year fresh food access for our families and our community. Our gardens are user friendly and welcome both action or inaction. Please take a minute and enjoy the season. We wish you any peace, rest and comfort you seek. We hope you enjoy our unique place. A brief synopsis of what you might expect to see on site, SPRING will emerge with surprises and possibilities. The gardens are being planned, cleaned, prepared and planted. We could have sudden freezing nights, beautiful sunny days, frantic snowstorms or gale force winds. There are probably baby animals on the farm and the birds are returning in force! SUMMERS’ here can be described in extremes. Extremely beautiful, busy, HOT, Dry, Fun. Warm milky way skies at night, free range cucumbers, catmint, sunflowers, weeds, farm failures, surprises and 16 hours of daylight! FALL, perhaps the best season, begins promising in early September. Fall can be interrupted with both Summer and Winter. If most goes well we will harvest melons, tomatoes, squash, corn and peppers. Alfalfa will have its third harvest. Days are bearable and nights fantastic! WINTER is the longest of our seasons. Quiet nights, sleeping and neglected gardens, harvest and landscape sharply contrast the prior months’ pace. We reluctantly welcome peace and rest and succumb to reflection and possibility,
