Description

My name is Annie, Robert and I would love to welcome you to stay in our beautiful home . We can offer you a unique experience of Ugandan hospitality and culture. Many people pass through Uganda, but we offer you the chance to go deeper and really experience Ugandan life. We run a local charity , educating and equipping women ,we can take you into the village to see our work and really experience village life. These trips will help continue to fund the life changing work we do. The space We offer 3 unique self contained bungalows that can be rented separately or together ( to accommodate 6 people ). They have self catering facilities ( cooker and fridge ) , sitting room with comfy sofas and well equipped bathrooms. The bungalows offer beautiful views of the kabale hills. The bungalows are surrounded by lovely gardens, a great place to relax and unwind. We are just outside kabale ( 5 mins off the kabale- kisoro road ) and although we are not on the lake we are very nearby for a day trip . However, can offer you something even more unique and off the beaten track ! It’s very easy to reach us from Kabale ; we can even help arrange pick up from town. We are also happy to cook local Ugandan food or even stock up the kitchen for you to make self catering simple. We invite you to share family meals with us (we have older children who love in the main house ) and learn all about life in Uganda. Guest access You will have full access to your self contained bungalow and access to the main house on invitation. Guests may arrange a cultural trip to visit our women’s groups ( an amazing opportunity to join in with local dancing, learn how to weave and see their farming projects ) but would have to agree to adhere to wearing locally acceptable dress ( shoulders and knees covered for women) on these trips and be respectful to the local women who have had very little exposure to westerners.
