Driving across the bridge will give you that peaceful feeling of being in the country. Our home offers lots of space with one living area that includes a second dining table for eating or games, 65" Smart TV, wet bar, full size refrigerator, and two sofas. Adjoining the living area is a game room with a ping pong table, 2 pub style tables, lots of playing cards, board games, poker chips, and books. Step up four steps into the kitchen with a 4-burner gas stove top, full size refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, 7 qt crock pot, 12-cup DRIP coffee pot, plenty of cookware, dishes, and flatware. There is coffee, filters, and tea. I have many basic spices and guests will leave condiments for the next guest to use. After each guests leaves I dump the ice in the ice maker so you can be assured the ice bucket is fresh. The main entrance is thru an enclosed porch which is perfect for that morning coffee or tea or watching the rain . Each of the 5 bedrooms have plenty of closet space with shelves &/or dresser in the room. The parking area offers plenty of room for your parking needs. You will be in awe with the beautiful old large pecan and magnolia trees. Picking pecans in the fall is encouraged if we have had a crop. There is a fire pit in the yard for those cool nights or anytime you want to sit as a group and tell stories. I cannot guarantee firewood is always available but I try. There is always lots of small pieces of wood on the ground around the pasture and woody area that you can pickup and start your fire with. At the front entrance is a natural gas lamp post (note sometimes a slight gas smell depending on the wind- not to worry, its normal). There is also gas grill; so you don't need to hassle with a propane tank. Enjoy some outdoor seating near the grill to chat while your grilling. Don't be surprised if at night you see a possum, armadillo, or raccoon. Early in the morning or late at dusk we've seen deer, fox or wild turkey run across the yard. Be ready to take some family or friend photos using the huge magnolia tree as a backdrop. Or pose along the old iron bridge. Sit around the fire pit, roast marshmallows, tell stories, or just enjoy the evening with family and friends. Play a game of corn hole, or toss a football. Every room offers either a ceiling fan or tower fans to help circulate the air in the Texas summer. You will have the entire home available to you accessible by digital key-less entry. Plenty of outdoor area for a game of tag football or soccer. There is a storage closet & workshop area that are marked, not accessible to guests. I can be reached by cell &/or text. We are secluded yet so close to all the events in City of Fort Worth. Don't be surprised if you see fox, wild turkey, possum or a racoon. We are well located just 8 min. from the Dickies Arena, Will Rogers Coliseum, Cowgirl Hall of Fame, numerous museums, Botanical Gardens, Casa Manana Theatre & other cultural activities. There are 2 country clubs within 5 minutes. Grocery stores & restaurants are within minutes of our home. Do you like to walk or run? Bring your tennis shoes. Are you a biking enthusiasts? Bring your bike. We are within walking distance to Airfield Falls Trailhead Park which is part of the Trinity Trails of Ft Worth. Our home offers secure parking for your bikes. We have easy access to downtown Ft Worth via your car or uber. Close to grocery stores, shopping, eatery. Important Rules for Guests During Your Stay. Please review the rules and we assume if you have booked with us that you are in agreement of the house rules. Please note we want your stay to be enjoyable and safe. * No bachelor or bachelorette parties. * Small groupings will not be unreasonable as long as you have PRIOR written approval from Host thru ABB; an extra fee for event may be charged. No gatherings/parties where the group size more than doubles the number of total allowed overnight guests. If policy is not followed Host has the right to evict immediately with no refund given. * Non-smoking rental (in or out). Unfortunately due to some guests in the past that smoked and through their cigarette butts in the driveway or yard we now impose a $100 extra charge for guests that were noted to smoke against policy. The fee is passed on to the crew that has to clean up the butts. * There are 2 non-working fireplaces - they are not to be used. Please enjoy the outdoor firepit. * No candles inside house. * Exterior camera on-site. * Property is designed to sleep 12. If host determines more than the booked number of guests stay at property, host will charge a fee of $100 per person per night. *NO PETS ALLOWED. If guest brings pet your security deposit is non-refundable. *Minimum age to book 27 years; photo ID will be required by AirBnb. *Neighbors/Quiet Hours. Please respect our neighbors. We ask that the outside music, etc. be quiet from 10 pm on Sunday - Thursday, & 11 Pm Friday & Saturday. Remember our neighbors may have school or work the next day while your enjoying your vacation time. *Toilet. We are on an old Septic System. Septic systems are more sensitive to items flushed vs city sewers - reminder notice of the 3 P's is posted in each bathroom.
