Location, location, location! And Free Wi-Fi! And Free Water re-fill! Casa Lynda is a quiet Guest House in the Centre of Samaipata. It is a pocket of paradise tucked away in the tranquil town of Samaipata. I live in the front of the property and am available to help when needed. We are close to the Plaza and all conveniences. We have a large private garden. With only 4 rooms privacy is guaranteed. This room has a private bathroom There is a double bed and a futon. There are NO cooking facilities. We have 2 dogs and a cat on the property. Parking is on the street. There is an outdoor eating area with a refrigerator and plates and utensils. There is no kitchen access. Privacy is very much respected. With Covid we prefer to communicate via WhatsApp. I live in the front of the property. We love that we have very few neighbours making our location very quiet and yet it is only a 5 minute walk to restaurants, shops and the lovely town square. We have a great connection with the town taxi drivers if guests would like to venture out of town and there are very economical public vans that go to Santa Cruz on a regular basis. Getting around town can be an easy stroll. Before coming to Samaipata you may want to visit a bank. There is only one bank in Samaipata and some people have had trouble withdrawing cash. The tranquil little town of Samaipata lies just 120km west of Santa Crus (only about 3 hours by bus) and is a place that should not be missed. Nestled in an idyllic valley surrounded by rugged, forest-covered mountains, it has an amazing 'onda' and is the kind of place travellers plan to stay a couple of days and end up staying a week or longer. Just 9km outside of town you will discover the mysterious, ruined pre-Hispanic ceremonial complex of El Fuerte, one of Bolivia's most intriguing archaeological sites. Within easy reach are some of the innumerable walking trails that run through the surrounding countryside and go trekking through the cloudforest of the Parque Nactional Amboró, where you may spot condors overhead or climb mountainous ridges for some breahtaking vistas. Alternatively, you may wish to enjoy an afternoon splashing around in some of the area's spectacular waterfalls. We now offer Reiki and intuitive card readings.
