We provide our personal house located on the kitesurfing spot of Mourouk in Rodrigues, 150 m from the beach The house consists of 2 bedrooms with fan, a shower room, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a private garden and a terrace/varangue offering a sublime sea view. Just steps from the beach, Kite Surf centers, bus stop and local restaurants/snacks. You'll love the ambiance, the people, and the lively neighborhood of the island. The space The house is located on THE Kite Surf SPOT in Anse Mourouk on Rodrigues Island, just a 1h45 flight from Mauritius. The house is ideal for couples, families (with children). Sleeps 4 people maximum. Spacious and beautifully decorated, the house offers a pleasant living space. Functional, the promise of a relaxing stay and ideally located on Rodrigues Island. It can accommodate up to 4 people. - Two bedrooms, each with a double bed. - Bathroom with shower. - Separate toilet - The kitchen communicates with the living room which gives access to the terrace offering a great view of the Anse Mourouk lagoon Note: No air conditioning in our house The sunset over the Rodrigues lagoon from the terrace is a treat. Perfect for kitesurfers and beach lovers. The sea and beach are a 200 m walk away. You will then access the famous beach of Mourouk, with kite surfing centers, snacks, diving center, glass bottom kayak... etc. A "different" trip to the heart of an island that has remained untouched. Welcome to our preserved paradise: Rodrigues Island. Guest access You will have access to the entire house, private parking secured by a gate, outdoor garden, sheltered veranda. Our little dog "Caver", our little cat "Kittie" and our two turtles "Winnie and Momo" are part of the premises and watch over the house. We live upstairs very discreetly. Other things to note Rodrigues Island suffers from water problems.. It is important to be mindful of your water consumption, In order to preserve our beautiful island. Really important! The house does not have a washing machine because we suffered too much abuse despite our explanations about the water in Rodrigues. However we can make our personal washing machine available on request if needed. NOTE VERY IMPORTANT: WIFI AT THE HOUSE Smoking is only allowed OUTSIDE the house. As this is a personal home, it is personalized and we really want to respect the furniture and any other personal belongings on the premises during your stay . The floor of the house is dedicated to us. The new road that serves the center of Rodrigues Island passes right in front of the house, you will hear the vehicles and the bus that stops right in front. This is part of local life... Ms you need to know, because it can be noisy during the day. Also note that the Play Mourouk hotel is currently under construction but has reopened since 11/01/23. It is located close to the house and there may still be a little noise during the day following the last works.
