We provide our personal house located on the kitesurfing spot of Mourouk in Rodrigues, 150m from the beach The house is composed of 2 bedrooms with fan, shower room, equipped kitchen, living room, private garden and terrace/veranda offering a sublime sea view. Only a short walk to the beach, Kite Surf centers, bus stop and local restaurants/snacks. You will appreciate the ambiance , the people and the lively neighborhood of the island. The space The house is located ON the Kite Surf SPOT in Anse Mourouk at Rodrigues Island, just 1h45 flight from Mauritius. The house is great for couples, families (with kids). Sleeps up to 4. Spacious and beautifully decorated, the house offers a pleasant living space. Functional, the promise of a relaxing stay ideally located on Rodrigues Island. It can therefore accommodate up to 4 people. - Two bedrooms, each with a double bed. - Bathroom with shower . - Separate toilet - The kitchen communicates with the living room that gives access to the terrace shaded with great views of Anse Mourouk lagoon Note: No air conditioning in our house The sunset on Rodrigues lagoon from the deck is a delight. Perfect for kitekeepers and beach lover. The sea and beach are a 200m walk. You will then access the famous Mourouk beach, with kite surf centers, snacks, diving center, glass bottom kayak... etc . A trip "otherwise" to the heart of an island still in a virgin state. Welcome TO our unspoiled paradise: L 'ile Rodrigues .. Guest access You will have access to the entire house, private parking secured by a gate, outdoor garden, sheltered varangue. Our little dog "Caver" ,our little cat "Kittie" and our two turtles "Winnie and Momo "are part of the premises and watch over the house. We live upstairs very discreetly. Other things to note Rodrigues Island suffers from water problems.. It is important to be mindful of your water consumption, In order to preserve our beautiful island. Really important! The house does not have a washing machine because we suffered too much abuse despite our explanations about the water in Rodrigues. However we can make our personal washing machine available on request if needed. NOTE VERY IMPORTANT: HOMEMADE WIFI Ability to smoke only outside of the house. As this is a personal home, it is personalized and we really want to respect the furniture and any other personal belongings on the premises during your stay . The floor of the house is dedicated to us. The new road that serves the center of Rodrigues Island passes right in front of the house, you will hear the vehicles passing and the bus stopping right in front. This is a part of local life.. you have to know, because it may seem noisy to some. It should also be noted that the Play Mourouk hotel is currently under construction but it has reopened since 11/1/23. It is close to the house and there may be some noise during the day following the latest work .
