Home in Athens

Enjoy a typical historic Athens home during your stay whether here for a GA Bulldawgs game, to see live music, visit UGA, or whatever your reason! The space Welcome to our home! We are a couple who live with our two sweet dogs and a sweet cat. We are competitive cyclist and run a local elite cycling team here in Athens, GA. We Also LOVE to cook and Love music. Eric works in the cycling industry and Maria is a Physical Therapist. Our home makes us so happy. The house is a historic Athens home from the 1930’s with a white picket fence and our front porch looks out to a renovated and repurposed church from The 1800’s as well as amazing sunsets! We have honey bees 🐝 in the property that mind their own but if you are allergic to honey bees, this may not be the home for you. We also have a black cat named Bitty that is typically indoor/outdoor but when we have guests she stays outside with access to garage. She will come by and say hi for sure. Lastly, we have chickens on the property. Although we let them roam the yard when we are home, please leave them in their coop. You are welcome to any eggs we have collected though! If your stay is over several days, we will stop by to make sure all critters are happy. Guest access Entire home except the non-attached garage and one room Other things to note We spend most our time in our backyard space where you can find a porch with lounge seating, night lights, a grill, a hammock, a fire pit area, and lots of plants that make it private. An air mattress is available that can be set up in hallway or living room . Otherwise we have two private bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Our kitchen nook is where we play games, eat amazing meals, or gather to share stories with friends and family. The house has the historic feel with modern amenities that speaks Athens!
