Your home away from home awaits at this cozy cottage in the heartland of upstate NY surrounded by beautiful farm country and not too far from some of the best ski resorts & hunting areas in the region. Our one bedroom cottage includes a full kitchen (which we will stock with local fresh items at your request) and a comfy den. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the tranquil nature of the Hudson Valley. Let me know if you enjoy red or white wine as I will provide a bottle for you. The space Feel free to explore! If you walk down to the pond between the 2 big barns, I have 2 lounge chairs and a small table there for you to relax and take in the fresh air, beautiful sights and nature sounds. I am sure you will get a glimpse of some beautiful birds and deer. If you walk behind your cottage, you will see a mowed path that will lead you up our Marley Mountain where I have a picnic table and 2 chairs. You will find an amazing 360 degree view of the area. Guest access If not too windy, please enjoy a beautiful campfire down by the pond! I will provide everything needed for your enjoyment. Fire pit, logs, fire starter, kindling, safety gloves and lighter. Other things to note Not too far from Butternut and Catamount ski resorts. Taconic Lake is amazing and very close. Bash Bish Falls is only 35 minutes away and we have our Stissing Mountain right in town that is a popular hiking spot!
