A cozy space to call your own! Enjoy this bright private room with separate entrance, on the ground level of my heritage home, located in the Fernwood neighbourhood. Walking distance to Fernwood Square and Oak Bay Ave where you can find a variety of restaurants, cafes, groceries and pharmacies. Floors are creaky in heritage homes, if you require quiet mornings note that we are awake by 7am during weekdays and 8am on weekends. You have your own room and bathroom with a separate entrance and patio area on the ground level of our darling heritage home. I look forward to hosting you during your stay! Guest access You'll have access to the garden level room through the home’s side entrance. There is TV (Netflix, Crave and Amazon prime) a full bathroom with bathtub and a fully fenced front yard and side garden patio area to call your own. Feel free to use the barbecue - you'll just need to let me know so that I can provide all the necessary grilling tools. Laundry service available for an additional fee. We live upstairs and area usually around if you need any assistance. Bowie the Westie is our excited neighbourhood greeter and Baska is our shy black lab. Other things to note Guests should know that this room is on the garden level of our family home. Therefore, you will hear footsteps from above. We try to keep noise to a minimum to be respectful during your stay but please be aware that I am up for work and the girls are up for school and there is an increase of footsteps noise between 7-8am during the week. You will hear Baska's tail wagging against the floor (she's a black lab) We are not up late, it's unlikely that you will hear any noise from us past 10pm.
