Simple private 3 room suite on 1st floor of our century old historic Bayfield house (2 bedrooms, living/dining room and full bath). The living/dining room has comfy chairs, table and chairs, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, plates, cups, silverware etc. Your space is private with private entrance, but closets and dressers contain our belongings. Guests can also use the shared porch, a comfortable place to relax and enjoy beautiful views of the lake n islands. There are two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen mattress and box spring. The second bedroom has a fold-out double IKEA couch bed with an additional thin memory foam mattress on top. The best part of this lodging is the great view from the porch. Guests are welcome at all times to share the porch with us or on their own if we are not around. There is comfortable seating and also a dining space outside. Besides their own private areas/rooms already mentioned, guests have access to the porch (with great views of the lake) and the yard. We will be present on the premises whenever we are hosting. Easy access to downtown Bayfield, The Iron Bridge, Apostle Islands National Park Visitor Center, ravine trails. Short drive or bike ride to orchards. Walkers be aware that the walk downtown is easy, all downhill, but the walk back is mostly uphill. Very little of Bayfield is flat. Bayfield is a very small town. It is about 6 blocks to get to downtown from our place. The walk to downtown is downhill and thus uphill upon return. Most of downtown is within a 3 block radius. There are two cats on the premises, but they are not in the rental area. Because we inhabit this area part of the year, and although we try to clean as well as possible, there is remaining cat dander present in the apartment. If you are highly sensitive, you may have a reaction.
