If you are interested in having an authentic Jamaican experience, we would love to welcome you to a modern studio apartment situated in a rural but upcoming community. The area is peaceful, with many orange and banana farms which adds to the rural feel and a sense of tranquility. The property itself is littered with fruit trees and flowers and we recently added a small swimming pool. It is also 7 minutes drive from the cooling Rio Cobre River, which is ideal for a refreshing swim on a warm day. The space The property is conveniently located between the tourist capital and the business capitals of Jamaica. It is 48 km from Ocho Rios and 38 km from Kingston. However, both are areas are easily accessible from the new highway with a travel time of approximately 30 minutes to both destinations. The studio apartment has an open floor plan, with a fully equipped kitchen with all the modern appliances, a toilet and a shower. There is also a large patio and a smaller balcony area to which only the guests to the studio apartment has access. There is a private gate to access the property, and parking is available for one car. There is also a small swimming pool and a relaxing area to chill. Guest access Guests have their own entrance to the studio apartment. Whilst the upstairs space is yours throughout your stay, you will have access to all the outdoor spaces, both upstairs and downstairs. Some of the downstairs spaces are shared but you will be provided with all the privacy possible. The studio, is on the first floor of a family house which guests do not have access to. However, there is someone available at all times to answer questions and to assist you with whatever you need to make your stay comfortable. Other things to note - The property is located in a rural area(country side). This means the roads may be potholed, small local shops, and sometimes slow internet. The tradeoff is a relaxing, clean quiet space away from tourists in a great genuine local community.
