Unique experience by the lake : Myrdal, Flåm

* Accessible only by train, bicycle or foot * Beautiful hytte at the top of Flåm valley with a great view on Reinunga lake. No roads but accessible by train from Flåm, Bergen and Oslo and by bike along the famous Rallarvegen. "One of the best train trips in Europe" - National Geographic - The hytte is located close to Myrdal, by the lake "Reinunga" and the famous "Rallarvegen". Here you will enjoy some great mountain views from the terrace. * Environmentally friendly accommodation * The space - Self sufficient cabin of 60 m² + terrace of 85 m². - A bedroom with a king-size bed (or two single beds on request) and two single beds in the living room. - On request, a baby kit can be made available to you for the same price as an additional person. - On request, a Scandinavian wood heated hot-tub. Guest access You will find free parking for your car at the Flåm railway station. You can then ride the Flåmsbana train up the valley to Reinunga. Beware no to miss the last train ( in the summer it leaves Flåm at 6:35 PM ). You can also get to us by train from the Bergen-Oslo line. Other things to note * Environmentally friendly : Here at "Reinunga Eco-hytta" we try to minimize our impact on the planet. For this reason, we offer (to the best of our capacity) organic and locally sourced products (breakfast / cleaning and hygiene products / bed linen / ...). You will have at your disposal recycling bins. We are also happy to say that all our energy consumption is carbon-neutral. * Wi-Fi : Good Wi-Fi (30Mbps) Meals : Breakfast is an option (please ask 48h beforehand). If you don't feel like cooking, other options are available, ask us for more information. * TV : TV with Chromecast and HDMI, but not connected to the national channels. * Mobile phone coverage : Mobile phone coverage and 4G at the cabin. * Incineration toilet : The cabin has an ecologically friendly incineration toilet (everything is burned at 600 °C and turned to ash). Our goal at Reinunga Eco-hytta is that you live the full mountain experience, in our altitude lodge. We have tried to create a calm place surrounded by nature, where you will want to spend a relaxing time in our cosy lodge. We envisioned Reinunga Eco-Hytta to be a place where families, couples and friends can create an experience to remember. Reinunga Eco-Hytta is also a great place for a honeymoon or a romantic week-end !
