Beautiful Custom Built Lake Home

This custom built lake front home is located on a large quiet chain of four lakes and several rivers, totaling over 1900 acres. It is surrounded by thousands of acres of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. This spacious property, with 153 feet of sandy lake frontage and your own pier and swim raft, offers plenty of privacy. The view of lake from the great room is amazing and you can fish, hunt, bike, hike, boat, snow shoe, ski, ATV and snowmobile right outside your door. The space The home is located 20 miles west of Minocqua. It has cathedral ceilings and in floor heating in the house and attached garage. We have a free standing fire place as the center piece in the great room. The televisions are equipped with smart TV technology, (Fire Sticks) as well as local channels. We have a large selection of DVDs located in the spare bedroom TV cabinet. We also have a library of books, games and puzzles in the loft area above the kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and cooking supplies as well as a dish washer, microwave, food processer, coffee maker, coffee grinder, beater, and likely anything you would need. We also have a laundry room with a washer and dryer, which is also our pantry. Our breakfast bar seats six people comfortably. We have 4 folding chairs in the attached garage and TV trays in the screened in porch. The home has four bedrooms, two in the house and two in the attached garage. The garage has in-floor heating downstairs and baseboard heating upstairs. Three of the bedrooms have king beds, while the upstairs garage bedroom has one queen bed, and one double bed. There is a futon in the screened in porch. Linens for the futon are in the closet in the hallway. Also in the screened in porch is a 4 person hot tub, where you can visit while looking out at the lake. We have two bathrooms, one attached to the master bedroom with a bathtub and the other with a shower. Guest access You also will have access to three canoes and two kayaks, and the paddle boat in Summer. The lake chain is known for bluegill, sunfish, perch, crappie, small and large mouth bass, walleye, northern and muskie. There is an outdoor fire pit, and outdoor sauna, two picnic tables and camp chairs. There are plenty of hiking and biking trails, and some of the best ATV and snowmobile trails in the north woods, right outside of the cabin. There are also great places to cross country ski or snow shoe on groomed trails, or do like we do and hit the snowmobile trails for excellent skate skiing. You can ice fish right in front of the cabin and view your tip ups without going out in the cold if you wish. There is downhill skiing in Wausau, 1.5 hrs away, or in the Upper Peninsula where Big Powderhorn, Blackjack and Indianhead are located in Bessemer Michigan 1.5 hrs away. For hunters, it is wonderful for deer hunting, bird hunting and small game. Other things to note We provide wood for the fireplace inside the home and the wood burning sauna and fire pit. We also have a Weber Grill for guests to use. Please bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid.
