What a magical home nestled on top of the hillside on a beautiful farm and nursery in the countryside of Mississippi. Come relax in the jetted tub, grill out on our deck, or spend your night outside by a fire! Our farm and nursery has more than 25 acres of trails, creeks, and nature to explore! The owners of this home are both Landscape Architects so you will have views of their lovely growing fields and their creation of Stonehedge, a replica of what Stonehenge looked like out of plants! Come Come relax in tranquility in our historic cabin built in 1905. This cabin was lovingly relocated and restored after a fire a decade ago to preserve its history and character. Downstairs, there is a master bedroom with a queen size bed, areas to hang out or dine, a kitchen, and a quaint covered front porch. Our favorite place is the large deck overlooking Stonehedge from above. The deck has a jetted tub, hammock, and dining tables. Most common YES+NO questions: YES! Cell phone coverage is good with most carriers at the property. YES! Well behaved dogs are welcome. DOGS MUST BE ADDED TO RESERVATION PRIOR TO STAY. We require a $100 pet fee that will be added once you update your reservation by including that you are bringing a pet. See our dog policy below. YES! We have towels, linens, and cookware YES! We have an outdoor fit pit YES! We have a grill (Just have to bring charcoal!) YES! We have a tub outside on the deck that has hot and cold water. It is not a hot tub or spa. Dog Policy: Two dogs max allowed. Please update your reservation to include the number of pets. We do not allow dogs under one year old. We require that any dogs you bring are up to date on tick and flea medication. We do not allow dogs that are not potty trained. Please pick up after your dog outside. Do not leave your dogs inside unattended unless you have a crate to put them in. Dogs are NOT allowed on any furniture or beds. Guests will have access to the entire cabin and 25 acres of trails, creeks and meadows as shown on the map provided. Be aware we have 2 other rental cabins on the property so please respect the space of the other guests. We just ask that you please stay within the boundaries shown on the map. We will usually be close by if anyone needs anything and Jimmy, our farm manager will always be around if there are any urgent questions and we are not around! Our farm is located in the Mississippi countryside among rolling hills and wide open spaces. We are 1 hour and 45 minutes from New Orleans, 10 minutes west of Tylertown, and 15 minutes south of McComb. Tylertown has a handful of restaurants and a grocery store, Piggly Wiggly on Hwy 98. If you are looking for more restaurants or shopping, McComb is a great place to explore close by. Another fun excursion is to go to Summit, a quaint town, about 25 minutes away that has antique stores and restaurants. If you are looking for fishing or hiking, Percy Quin State Park is only about 25 minutes away. The Bogue Chitto River is 1 mile away where you can swim, fish, or float down the river. The cabin is self-check-in and it will be ready for you when you get here. Just make sure to read the check in instructions and map carefully before arriving so you have a better idea of what to expect! Pike County is a dry County so plan on bringing any alcoholic beverages you may want to have. The Little Town Grocery close by does have beer and limited essential groceries.
