Just an hour to Chicago by car or the South Shore train is 1/2 mile from the house, with easy rides to Chicago and South Bend. THE SPACE Modern, 2-story, 4 bedroom 2-bath home nestled in a wooded area. Most of the living area is downstairs with the third bedroom has a large desk area with a private balcony upstairs. Note there is not a door at the top of the stairs. There is a Rec Room on the main floor filled with games and toys for your use. There is a hot tub outside on the main deck and a fire pit as well. Downstairs is a full updated kitchen, living area w/fireplace, master bedroom/bath, 2nd bedroom with bunk beds, a toddler bed and a queen bed , 2nd bathroom with tub and shower, laundry room, and 600 sq ft studio that can be used for 4th bedroom that typically serves as a game room and extra media room. Spectacularly private with 1000 square feet of decks, outdoor hot tub, outdoor games and a fire pit. Upstairs is the 3rd bedroom with beautiful views and private balcony. This room can also serve as an office. Please note, this space is on it's own floor and there is no door. The home is perfect for relaxation and fun with your family or a romantic getaway. The home on its 5 acres truly feels secluded, but is at close proximity to everything you would need. We will provide you with a list of our favorite local restaurants and attractions. LIVING ROOM: Open concept living room that connects to the kitchen with floor to ceiling windows facing the dunes and woods. A see-through wood burning fireplace to the master bedroom There is a screen to put up for privacy. There is also an extra futon and a large flat screen TV. KITCHEN: Modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and quartz counter tops. There is a dishwasher, Thermador 6 burner range, convection oven, refrigerator, blender, toaster, drip coffee maker, and microwave. There is also a small breakfast bar with 2 seats. DINING: Mid-century modern table just off the kitchen. BATHROOMS: One beautiful modern full bathroom on the main floor and a stunning master bathroom on the main floor that includes a marble spa-like shower with dual-shower heads and a rain shower. BEDROOMS: All the bedrooms have large windows and gorgeous views of the woods and/or dunes. Please note there are blinds only in the bedrooms (which can be left open of course) to allow for fully integrated indoor/outdoor living. Master bedroom has a king sized bed, spectacular master bathroom and fireplace. There is also a sliding glass door for easy access to the deck and hot tub. Bedroom 2 is a large room with plenty of space. It has a queen size bed, bunk beds and a toddler bed. There is also a portable crib in the closet that can be used. Bedroom 3 is upstairs with a queen bed, large desk with built-in wood bookcases, and a private balcony with seating for four. The full floor is the bedroom and there is no door at the top of the stairs. Rec room can also be used as a 4th bedroom or studio. The room has a 2nd futon and a large flat screen TV. Main living room also has a futon and a flat screen TV. LAUNDRY ROOM: Full washer and dryer. SCREENED PORCH: Screened porch just off the kitchen with seating and storage of beach chairs, umbrella, beach wagon and outdoor toys for you to use.. OUTSIDE DECK: A private outside deck on the lower level with 1000 square feet of space! There is a large outside dining table, a fire pit, and a variety of outside toys and games. The yard is wonderful for relaxing and you can hike in the woods right in the backyard. FAMILY FRIENDLY: We aim to have a family friendly home. We have a toddler bed, a portable crib, highchair, booster seat, toys and books. Please let us know in advance if you need these items. Things to note however are that a few aspects of the home would require supervision with young kids (stairs with no railing, 3rd floor has no door at top of stairs, hot tub, low oven, electric outlets without child-proof covers). PARKING: We have a very long driveway. PREFERRED OCCUPANCY: We would like no more than 8 occupants with preference given to families or couples. However, please contact us if you would like to discuss other arrangements. As this is our home, we will not rent for large parties or large groups. MINIMUM STAY: We request a 2-night minimum stay. We will offer a 15% discount for stays of more than 7 days. Guest Access - You have access to all areas that are not locked. Interaction with Guests - We will be available to make sure your stay is amazing! IMPORTANT NOTE: Although the property is very secluded renters may want to take note that there are large windows in the master bathroom with amazing views of the forest. Shower curtain for privacy. Guest will have full access to all areas of the house, screened porch, deck, hot tub, fire pit, property and are able to use everything that is not locked. We will be available during your stay to make you comfortable and make sure you have everything you need to make your stay amazing! Beverly Shores is a small community located on Lake Michigan in the middle of the Indiana Dunes. There are many beaches, dunes and trails to explore. Property is secluded and is about a mile from Lake Michigan. We are 1/2 mile from the Beverly Shore Train Station utilizing the South Shore Line. Has convenient service to Millennium Park, downtown Chicago as well as South Bend.
