In back yard of hosts home in a quiet residential neighborhood . Quick access to I-90, 38 miles from Seattle. Private parking space. Tesla charge $15 a day. The space First things first. We host many traveling professionals who alas, must work while living in our paradisical location. They report that the Wi-Fi connection is excellent. "Without labor, nothing prospers." — Sophocles. The loft is tucked in the back of our home property in a quiet residential neighborhood. Your designated parking spot is on the street. And you are welcome to pull into the driveway to unload. If you're lucky enough to enjoy the Loft during growing season help yourself to strawberries, grapes, cherries, or Asian pears in the "orchard bed" alongside the driveway. Drive a Tesla? Excellento! We traded our Tesla in for a diesel guzzling truck so our charging station is all yours for $15 a day. Walk through the wooden gate and follow the path next to our house, back to the two-story building in our backyard. This is your private path that we only enter to maintain the Loft garden or to accommodate a need you might have. Walk up 8 steps onto your private deck and enter your home away from home where we invite you to get comfortable and enjoy the 600-square-foot studio-style loft. Speaking of decks, we built the Loft deck more than twice as large to add additional living space for guests' enjoyment. It is furnished with 2 chairs and a small table. Guests in the midst of moving appreciate the space to keep their outdoor plants safe. The K-Pod coffee maker is ready for you with a few pods to get you started. Get comfortable on the leather loveseat and kick your feet up on the coffee table to enjoy your favorite show on Netflix etc. on the 55-inch Smart TV. Also, enjoy the book collection in the TV console to get great ideas of how to enjoy the area. After your travels, the top-of-the-line Bassett bed, adorned hotel style with 4 pillows and an extra blanket may be calling for you. You'll appreciate air conditioning on hot days and black-out curtains that protect your sleep. Speaking of light, the kitchen light has a slider so you can dim or brighten it to your fancy. Do your mornings start with a green smoothie? Enjoy being spoiled with a BlendTec turbo blender! I know right?! Love to bake? You'll find all the equipment you need along with a full-sized oven to satisfy your sweet tooth. Like to cook delicious meals? I dare you to discover any kitchen gear missing from the Loft kitchen. Dishes, glasses, wine glasses, silverware, kitchen towels, cooking utensils . . . even an immersion blender and hand mixer are ready to help you create deliciousness. Want to be spoiled and eat out? Excellent, North Bend, and the surrounding area boast a wide array of food choices from casual to fancy. I'm happy to share recommendations. Hopefully, you'll be able to enjoy spectacular hikes, scenic drives, the river, and Rattlesnake Lake all minutes from the Loft. So you'll appreciate the washer and dryer equipped with some laundry detergent to get you started. You'll find a spare set of sheets and towels in the drawers in the bathroom. It gets even better for dog lovers! The Loft pathway is fenced off from our yard creating a separate mini yard. Enjoy walks along your choice of 2 rivers both within walking distance from the Loft. Play fetch into the water at Rattlesnake Lake a short drive up the mountain. Join fellow dog lovers at the dog park about 4 miles away. Rest assured for none dog owners, our guests agree to never allow their dog to sleep on the furniture. And they pay an extra cleaning fee so our cleaner can take any extra time to tidy up. North Bend is a corridor town nestled around the I90 which provides quick and easy access to the freeway. Most houses in our valley can hear the freeway and our reframe is that it's much like the lulling sound of a river. The surrounding bounty of beauty helps us get used to the river lull quickly. Like you, we enjoy traveling so there's a possibility that for part of your stay, we may be out of town. Not to worry, we have you covered with present co-hosts who are just a text away in case you need anything in our absence. We've hosted well over 100 guests and we have streamlined systems in place to make sure your stay is top-notch. If there's a need, no matter where we are you are our priority. Other things to note The Loft Guest House tends to be booked all year long with only a handful of days in between 1-2-3-4 stays. We recommend that you act quickly if you discover it’s available during your desired dates and it feels like a good match. We typically respond to inquiries quicker than Speedy Gonzales to accommodate your questions.
