Gaze at ever-changing SF Bay views, while relaxing on the private deck. Explore outstanding hiking trails, just minutes away. Visit Montclair Village, with grocery stores, boutiques, lots of services, great restaurants, and a fantastic farmer's Market on Sundays! Make full use of the separate office space, complete with desk and WiFi! The space New queen-size bed with firm mattress.  Full bathroom with tub/shower, heated towel rack, hair dryer, and amenities Fully-stocked kitchenette (sink, fridge, microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle, coffee maker, French presse, blender, snacks). Plates, silverware, serving dishes, basic cooking needs (salt pepper etc.), coffee, creamers and tea all supplied – everything you need to cook simple meals in-house if you prefer. Dining room table and tablecloths/mats.  Living room area with large couch and an assortment of books, videos and indoor games. Closets with ample hanging and storage space. Skylights in the main studio and office. Fans and heaters for temperature controls. Private Studio/Office. Pet-free space. Guest access Deck with views of SF Bay. Plenty of space for social distancing. Basketball court. Quiet, wooded setting at back of studio. Outdoor coffee table and chairs. Wi-Fi. 42" HDTV (w/cable). You will need a car as we live in the hills of Oakland. Ample parking on the street. Alternatively, ride services like Uber and Lyft are readily available. Major freeways are all close. Drive times to major destinations: - 4 minutes to Rt. 13 - 8 minutes to Rockridge BART - 10 minutes to downtown Oakland - 12 minutes to Cal Berkeley - 20 minutes to San Francisco Other things to note -- Interaction With Guests -- We live on the property. Access to the studio/office is via a separate entrance so you have complete privacy. We are a busy working couple. We never disturb you once you are inside, and never enter the studio while you are here (unless requested). Feel free to knock on our back (kitchen) door if you need anything, or hear us and would like to say hello! -- Arrival -- Once through the gate you will be greeted by a beautiful garden. The studio is at the back of the garden. As you can see in the photos, there are a few steps up to the studio that are a bit uneven -- "landscaped" style stairs. For our elderly guests, be advised that there is no railing. The pathway is lit at night. The studio/office entrance is through the office door, on the right of the back building. Enter the studio from the office. The lock box will provide you a key to the front door. Please remember to leave the key when you depart at the end of your stay. -- Cleaning -- Our cleaning service follows the Airbnb enhanced cleaning protocol. They thoroughly clean every surface, handle, etc. using sanitizing chemicals. The disinfectant is left on the surfaces to kill pathogens. The studio is ventilated and aired using fans to increase air circulation. Linens are washed on the highest heat setting. Dishes are washed after every stay in the dishwasher. Cleaning materials, paper towels, hand soap, hand lotions etc. are also provided/accessible.
