Enjoy the beauty and bounty of Coastal California. The William Tell House is a fresh take on an Old California institution originally established in 1877. Marin County’s Oldest Saloon, the Tell is nestled in the sleepy town of Tomales, minutes from the bay that shares its name and surrounded by the rolling countryside where Marin meets Sonoma. The newly-refurbished historic inn is the perfect base to take in all that this amazing area and its local producers have to offer. Dog friendly! The space Room 2 is a comfortable king bedroom overlooking our patio, with the community park and rolling hills beyond. We've worked hard to retain the old California charm of the WTH rooms, restoring the original hardwood floors to their former glory while adding rustic modern touches and regional art. The room is tastefully furnished with natural woods and quality amenities, and you'll rest on a comfortable memory foam mattress with quality cotton bedding. The room also features a flat-screen TV with Roku, bluetooth speakers from LSTN Sound Co, a small refrigerator, and a space heater for cool nights. We've done our best to soundproof these old walls but the rooms are above the restaurant downstairs, so if you are early to bed you might want to consider that on nights the restaurant is open. You can also connect your phone to the bluetooth speaker we've provided and use your favorite background noise app to help mask any unwelcome sounds. Guest access Guest will have access through "The Inn" entrance and walk up one flight of stairs. All of the rooms are above the restaurant. Each room has its own unique key code and entrance. Other things to note Our rooms are brand new and we've worked hard to make them cool, comfortable, and cozy. As mentioned, the main thing that may concern you is noise from downstairs and neighboring rooms. We've insulated the walls between rooms and strategically carpeted the floors, so we're eager to hear feedback on how comfortable your stay was from this perspective. And any other perspective.
