The room is quiet, clean, cozy, spacious and private. The neighborhood is nice for taking a walk. The house is withing a couple miles of shops, theaters and restaurants. We are 20min fromNIH, 10 NIST, 5 from Astra Zeneca, from Shady Grove Hospital. Near Potomac River, perfect for kayaking, hiking, biking, etc.In addition we are within an hour from Shenandoah National Park and Washington DC.Perfect for business, travelers or interns. No pets, no extra visitors please. As a guest you will be able to use the common areas. Free parking space in a big driveway, kitchen, formal dining room, extra bathroom near the kitchen, laundry room, big backyard, deck, tv room and living room. There is a small flat screen in the bedroom, basic cable, alarm clock, arm chair, night stand, clean bed, ceiling fan, ( we have central air conditioner), full private bathroom right outside the bedroom door. You may use the kitchen and adjacent kitchen table. I work 5 days a week, but I will try to be there the first day to welcome you and answer your questions. I will be available as much as you need. Your privacy is completely respected. Within 15 minutes drive, we can reach main highways such as I-270 North and south, I-495 ( takes you to Washington DC). Shade Grove Metro Station ( 10 minutes from our house) is the closest Metro Station that takes you easily from Maryland to Washington DC Capitol, Reagan National airport, Parking is available at Shady Grove M.Station. Good Uber services. We are 20 minutes from NIH and 10 minutes from NIST. 5 minutes from AstraZeneca by car. My house offers a country feel near lakes, nature hikes, there are parks with tennis courts, basketball courts, we have a beautiful back yard and deck for daytime, great for outdoor yoga to burn out stress. We are near to Potomac River- perfect for kayaking- hiking, biking. It Offers short day trips ( within an hour) from Shenandoah Park, Washington DC, Virginia, Harper's Ferry, Sugarloaf Mountain and more beautiful places to visit!!
