Peaceful Lakefront Paradise

A slice of secluded heaven on a lake. sit by the lake and watch the sunset, it's beautiful! 2 adults + 3 free-range dogs (a pug, and 2 bulldogs) + 6 cuddly cats are eager to meet you. You'll have your own separate entrance and a clean, quiet room (separated from owners' residence by a folding screen) with a queen bed + bathroom in a shared home. Snacks + coffee provided. Close to RHIT, ISU, SMWC, downtown, and an hour's drive to the airport. No TV, & no more than 2 guests allowed. The space Modern country living, on a lake, in the woods, off a dirt road, in a house. Close to I-70, ISU and RHIT. Relax by the lake, go fishing (we have a couple of poles to borrow), explore our wooded trails, or go mountain biking at nearby Griffin Bike Park. Healthy snacks and coffee provided. 2 adults, 3 free-range dogs and 6 cats live here - all very friendly. no TV, sorry! Guest access You will be downstairs in the guest room with your own separate, private entrance, private bathroom (not connected to the bedroom, but adjacent, so you will need to leave the bedroom to get to the bathroom). The bathroom has a steam shower (ask for instructions)! You will have access to your two rooms, the yard (including a nature trail), deck and lakeside docks but NOT the rest of the house, including the kitchen - sorry. Note: host (quietly) works from home and her office is next to the guest room. Note: this is NOT a fully furnished apartment - it is a bedroom (with microwave and fridge) and bathroom only. there is a table with umbrella and chairs set outside on the patio for your use. there is no place indoors to dine comfortably. Other things to note * We typically do not accept guests without Airbnb profiles and/or prior guest reviews. This is because we are welcoming strangers into our home, and we must know something about you. Thanks for your understanding! • this is the place for you if you love the outdoors, nature, and friendly pets • This is NOT the place for you if you don't care for cats and dogs, or have pet allergies • there is a mini fridge, electric water kettle, and microwave in your bedroom - We are happy to adjust the thermostat to your liking, just let us know! Or you can adjust it, it's right outside your bedroom. There is a also a fan (if you are warm) and a space heater (if you are cold) in the closet in your room • The dogs get excited to meet new people, and may bark a lot when you arrive. Don't be scared! They just want to say hello. If it gets to be too much, let us know, we will keep them out of your space • We'll provide snacks + coffee/tea in your room • There's a nature trail for hiking on our property • We welcome mountain bikers, ISU/RHIT students and their families, travelers seeking an alternative place to stay as they drive by on Rt 70, visitors heading to and from the IND airport, or anybody seeking a quiet hotel alternative! • we do not accommodate children, your pets, or more than two adults • there is a parking space available for one vehicle • Your space is separated from the hosts' space by a folding screen
