Everfree Shire Ranch is an 11 acre estate offering accommodations for regular Air BnB visitors and those in need of economical long-term stays. There are 4 bedrooms (one is mine) and 29 outdoor camp sites. Room 3 has 2 full size beds, office space, TV, closet, video games, FULL FRIDGE, streaming on Roku & ambiance. Ample closet space available. This is a corner room with views of the south entrance and the east field. Specific platforms and game titles are usually available if requested early! The space Layout: Room layout is subject to change depending on the needs of the guests. Feel free to ask for assistance in moving anything around. A buffer day will be placed the day after the end of your stay. If you wish to extend, you must do so with more than 24 hours notice to overwrite the buffer day. This can be done through the "Change (or cancel) Reservation" option. This is a temporary measure I have taken because of my busy work schedule at the moment. Guests who arrive when a host in unavailable need not worry as the front door has key-coded access. You will be provided with the code on the day of or before arrival. Everfree Shire Ranch is a single floor proper ranch estate. Guests with mobility issues please bear in mind room 4 is positioned one step down from the rest of the house, including the bathrooms. Although the ranch has a light fantasy-world theme, please bear in mind real caution with Texas wild-life if exploring the outside vicinity. Indoor furry pets are strictly prohibited due to allergies. Smoking outside is fine, so long as you keep all your ashes to yourself such as a plastic bag. Disney +, Max, Paramount +, Netflix, Hulu, Crunchyroll, and Amazon Prime Video are now available on Roku! After your reservation has been confirmed, you will have access to the wifi password under the INFO section of your reservation. Aromatic scented oil options are available if requested ahead of time! Guest access The keypad is directly above the door handle. Push any button on the pad to light up the numbers. Lightly touching it like an ipad is not enough. You must physically push it. Guests are welcome to use all common areas including the living room, kitchen, laundry area, and 2 bathrooms. There is also a master bathroom available by request for emergencies. Access to all yards, gardens, and unlocked fields is fine so long as taking precaution in tall grass and pasture areas. Sturdy boots are highly recommended. The laundry room / 2nd bathroom is also shared with the campers. This is why I have 2 sets of laundry machines to keep everything moving along. Please KNOCK before entering the side bathroom / laundry area. If you lock the outside door, you must remember to UNLOCK it before leaving. This is a COMMUNAL setting so please clean up after yourselves especially in the kitchen and bathroom areas. This is a shared responsibility. If you see a mess REPORT IT and the co-hosts or I will take care of it. We all have jobs and do not always use the same bathroom as guests so don't assume we saw any mess that's in there. We will gladly clean any mess that wasn't yours or take care of any room service that may have been missed as long as you tell us about it. If you see a mess and complain about it days or weeks later, it is too late. Let me repeat this: IF YOU LEAVE A REVIEW SAYING A COMMON AREA WAS MESSY YOU ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT YOUR OWN BEHAVIOR OR FAILURE TO UNDERSTAND THESE RULES. If you need access to the corral, feed room, or need gates to pastures opened or closed, please ask for assistance. Guests may also use the BBQ pit and fire pits during off-season periods when outdoor spaces are not being hosted. During your stay I am usually here, but sometimes at my other Air BnB location. I am working full time during the day on weekdays from 7 AM until shortly after 3 PM. Other things to note IMPORTANT: DO NOT BRING SMALL CHILDREN AROUND HORSES UNSUPERVISED! Feeding or interacting with the horses, though allowed, is at your own risk. If you do not have experience with horses or know how to handle them, you could put yourself in serious danger. Horses, though tame, are prey animals and easily startled by unfamiliar things. Some of these horses are tamer than others and some are rescues from places where humans hurt them in the past and they are slow to trust. You have been warned that you interact with the horses at your own risk. Air BnB's policy requires me to inform you that there is a security camera located outside the house pointed at the entrance, the backyard, the tornado shelter, the highway / driveway entrance, inside the shed, in my personal room, and one in the garage. All cameras have a live feed to my phone for safety and accountability purposes. CBD oil is now totally legal in Texas so long as it is derived from hemp. :) Marijuana is still illegal and banned from the house for the sake of those whose jobs depend on avoiding contact with it. Delta strands must contain less than 0.3% THC, must be clearly labeled, and any paraphernalia related to hemp products left behind cannot be shipped back to you for legal purposes if you leave it behind. (It can be turned over to the Sheriff's Office and guests may retrieve it at that location if it becomes an issue.) Smoking or vaping of any legal substances is allowed outside only.
