Bright and comfortable bedroom with a full size bed is for you to enjoy. It looks to the back of the house and it is quiet with no traffic to speak of. Built in the 1920s, this Tudor style house retains its original charm, it is spacious and creatively painted, with hardwood floors throughout. Fully furnished and decorated with artwork, rugs and antiques from our travels around the world. We are walking distance from the Johns Hopkins Homewood Campus and Union Memorial Hospital. Charles Village and Unique Hampden are also nearby, and all Baltimore sights are a short ride away. Guest access The room can accommodate maximum 1 person. We prefer a female, as we will share the house, but it is not a requirement. Fully equipped house, laundry in the basement, parking in the driveway. You have your private bedroom but would most likely share the rest of the house with the owner. Bathroom shared with the host and/or another guest. Kitchen available for light cooking ONLY. Please limit kitchen use to minimum and no-cooking allowed between the hours of 10PM and 8 AM. Plenty of linens and towels available as well as kitchen amenities.. Basic toiletries provided but you bring your own for a longer stay. Washer/dryer in the basement. Plenty of free parking – private parking space in the back and street parking in the front. YMCA is right next door - has an Olympic size indoor swimming pool and all full fitness facilities. Community children's playground built and cared for by the neighborhood. This is a quiet residential neighborhood tucked behind what was the old Memorial Stadium, away from major street traffic. During your stay I like to meet people and spend as much time together as I can, but also value my and their privacy. It will vary depending on our schedules. I am spending a lot of time at home during these pandemic times, so you may be seeing me more.
