Cozy yet rustic cabin in the Redwoods overlooking the Smith River, purest in CA. Half mile of shoreline, excellent fishing and wildlife viewing. Round hot tub and a wood stove for the winter. Peaceful location yet min. from Hiouchi café, store and Giant Redwoods of Jedediah Smith State Park. 15 min. to Crescent City and miles of ocean beaches. Outdoor grill and fire pit. Wonderful for couples, families and groups, you won't find a better location on the river to relax and enjoy nature. The space Cabin has two bedrooms/1bath, wood stove, kitchen, laundry room, covered porch with New hot tub. Outdoor area overlooking river has patio chairs, gas and bbq grill and has view of "the river forks". An old trail from cabin to the river is a short 300ft. walk to a half mile of privately accessed river shoreline. (all walking/hiking and river access and outdoor activity or recreation is at your own risk, please use caution and safety). Wildlife abounds with river otters, eagles, steelhead and chinook salmon all amongst redwood, cedar and pine trees, blackberries and wildflowers in the summer and spring. See the stars and listen to the river at night, sit by the fire or on the covered porch. Experience peace and tranquility, yet close to everything...when you decide to venture out and explore.
