The Boxcar offers your family or group of friends an excellent and unique getaway on the Katy Trail in Rocheport. See The Katy Trail B & B offers six individual rooms and is an ideal stop for cyclists, families and couples enjoying a day trip or weekend getaway in Mid-Missouri. Katy Trail B & B is centrally located 12 miles west of Columbia, Missouri, 12 miles east of Boonville and in the heart of Missouri Wine Country. The Katy Trail Bed & Breakfast offers a perfect place for group lodging, a girl’s getaway weekend, scrap booking parties, and family reunions. If you’re getting married at Les Bourgeois winery, this would serve as a great “home base” while your wedding party prepares for the big day. The Katy Trail Box Car is an actual rail car that sleeps up to 7. The rate is based on double occupancy with $20 addition for each person over 8 years old. There is one queen bed, two lofts with queen size mattress and one pull out twin bed. There is a full bath with a tub/shower combination. The Box Car offers cable TV, WiFI, a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, sitting area, and the perfect view of the Katy Trail and of course the fire pit. Guest can easily access the fully stocked shared kitchen, the grounds have BBQ grills, chairs for watching the stars around a fire pit and watch the riders and hikers on the Katy Trail roll by with ease. We also have laundry, iron and more in the main house for all guest. We have a “Self Check-In.” Your reservation confirmation email will provide you with the key code and all of the information needed for your stay, including directions and contact information should you need anything during your stay. We live a few blocks away, offering our guests maximum privacy and solitude at our bed & breakfast. Our B and B is right on the Katy Trail, at the 178.5 mile marker, two blocks from Rocheport's downtown which offers restaurants, lovely shops and more! Our B and B has off street parking, covered bike storage to bring your own lock to safely lock your bikes out of the weather providing a carefree stay. All guest share the kitchen in the main house. It is a lovely gathering place. Breakfast is provided and you prepare it at your leisure up to 11am daily. Cerals, eggs, fruit, yogart and more await guest in the Gathering Place. Relax and enjoy the laid back vibe of Rocheport. DUE to Covid - we provide a breakfast basket for your room with frozen breakfast sandwiches, milk, juice, coffee. Feel free to make eggs in the main kitchen, but mask up in all shared areas.
