Drift View Shepherds Hut

Welcome to Drift View, lovingly designed and built by ourselves and set on our family farm close to the Rutland/Leicestershire border. The hut is positioned in a private and secluded orchard, next to the farmyard and offers stunning views of the rural landscape. You can experience the peace and tranquillity the location provides whilst enjoying the luxury of the shepherds hut which has an en-suite with shower, fully equipped kitchen, double bed and both indoor/outdoor dining areas. The space Collect freshly laid, free range eggs from your very own hen house for an alfresco breakfast in the morning sunshine. Spend the day exploring on one of the many local walking routes or enjoy the local attractions Rutland and Leicestershire have to offer. Then fire up the BBQ and relax with a chilled drink, that BBQ aroma and the sounds of the countryside. Guest access We are a working farm with beef cows, sheep and crops - not to mention the menagerie of other animals including horses, dogs, cats and of course our hens. We are happy to offer farmyard tours where you can meet the animals – you may even get roped in at feeding time! Other things to note Well behaved dogs are more than welcome. If you have older children, you are welcome to bring a tent which can be pitched next to the hut – additional guests are charged at £10/additional guest.
