Cottage #11 at Springwood Cottage Resort

This cottage is located close to all Resort amenities with a large screened in porch, big deck with views of Kennebec Lake and includes a private hot tub. With a large living area, it can comfortably accommodate a larger family or small group of up to 6 people. The resort features a large sandy beach, games room with 1,000+boardgames, a marina, and more! The space A large open concept, 3-bedroom cottage that accommodates 6 people comfortably. Two bedrooms have a Queen-sized bed and the third bedroom has a twin over double bunk bed. This cottage has satellite tv, A/C and a propane fireplace for year-round comfort. This wood clad cottage has a covered deck with a private hot tub and lovely views of the lake over the marina. It also has a small screened in deck and a private firepit for evening campfires. Guest access Guests will have access to Springwood Cottage Resort amenities. All of our cottages are fully equipped, including having a propane BBQ, A/C, potable water, 3-piece bathroom, comfy beds, flat screen Roku TV, DVD players, high speed internet, outside decks and all the kitchen amenities you might need. Our cottages also have their own dedicated firepit and are stocked with firewood throughout your stay. Each cottage includes access to our lake front resort amenities, including our large shallow sandy beach, playground, 2-tier community BBQ/leisure deck, resting & gathering areas (hammocks, picnic tables & gazebos), and private marina (including dedicated fishing dock and fish cleaning hut). With each stay, guests also have complementary access to a large variety of indoor and outdoor games (including beach volleyball, badminton, cornhole, horseshoes, giant jenga & more), puzzles, books, DVDs, non-motorized boats (kayaks, canoes, peddle boats, stand up paddle boards, & tandem kayaks), as well as adult and youth bikes, subject to certain restrictions, availability and seasonality. New in 2022, guests also have access to our common indoor games room (in separate building) featuring a pool table, a variety of arcade style games and over 700 board games, subject to applicable COVID restrictions. Weather permitting, in the winter months we clear and maintain an ice rink on the lake by the beach and have snowshoes available to borrow for guests to enjoy the local trails and lake. We have also prepared a Crokicurl rink set up, so guests this winter can take a hand at one of Canada’s newest outdoor winter sports, which is a cross between Crokinole and curling. We also have a couple of ice fishing huts available for rent. Guests can easily access snowmobile/ATV trails in Arden (5-minute drive away) at the TransCanada trail – however please note we do not rent snow mobiles or ATVs. New in 2022, guests can up their “culinary BBQ game” by using our XL top of the line Traegar smoker located on our central BBQ/leisure deck, subject to availability and a small user fee. On select evenings, we offer pizza nights, where guests can purchase from a selection of 7 different 10” individual sized, thin crust prepared artisanal pizzas, which we lovingly cook on our new wood burning pizza oven. We also have a nicely stocked general store on site where you can find anything you might have forgotten, pick up your new Springwood merchandise or just stop in for a treat – including Kawartha Dairy scooped ice cream. Other things to note The drinking water is potable. We try to be all inclusive in our pricing including propane for BBQs, firewood for campfires, etc. Please bring toiletries, beach towel, food and drinks.
