WEEKLY RENTAL: This beautiful year round 2960 sf 3 level waterfront cabin home is located on 1 1/2 acres on picturesque Moose Pond. Cozy, clean, comfortable and well cared-for--and not just another 'rental cabin', we know you'll enjoy this special spot. Moose Pond is up to 70' deep 1,694 acre lake great for all kinds of water sports including motor boating. This property has private water frontage w/ sandy beach entry, a dock for boat tie-up and a stone fire pit for camp fires at waters edge. The space Pleasant Mountain (formally Shawnee Peak) is a great family friendly ski mountain with all kinds of skiing options and more than 40 trails and 5 lifts. They also have 19 trails lit for night time skiing all season long. Shawnee Peak also has one of the largest lit Park/Pike Combos in New England! In summer Pleasant mountain has a picturesque lake at its feet that has been enjoyed by generations for swimming fishing boating tubing fun. With short driveway off the road, we're in a natural, private, wooded spot. Our property slopes gently to waters edge. Have fun on the 10-mile-long lake, shop, hike, ski, explore--or just simply relax here with friends and family. This home is perfect for a family/friend reunion gathering. There are activities for all 4 seasons, fishing, including swimming and boating with the kayaks and rowboat provided. Waterfront is shallow, recommend water shoes. A dock is provided for boats, and included in rental are 3 kayaks and one row boat 5 life vests. Wake up to the rising sun lighting up the mountainside in the cathedral master bedroom. Double bowl master bath sinks, whirlpool tub, and laundry up. Main level has 2 full bedrooms, full bathroom and open kitchen living areas. Porch runs width of home off of kitchen and living to (rear) water view. Lower Level has, bath with shower, 1 queen bedroom and 1 twn/full bunk bed room. Futon sitting area and covered patio area. Area attractions include many restaurants, the shops of quaint downtown Bridgton, country fairs and craft shops, museums, movie theaters (including a drive-in!) and lots more shopping, amusements and attractions in nearby North Conway, NH. More active recreation includes a rewarding mountain hiking trail close by, others nearby in the White Mountains, and Shawnee Peak Ski Area 2-1/2 miles down the road for winter snow skiing. Enjoy snowshoeing, cross country skiing, or snowmobiling trails also nearby. Fall brings beautiful foliage, Maine's largest agricultural fair in Fryeburg, harvest time and a quieter pace. Relax by our woodstove in the cozy, comfortable living room. Guest access The driveway in puts you at the main middle floor level. The ground gently slopes to the water. Lower level is pool level.
