Unique layout with exposed brick walls, solar heat, and hardwood floors, while the basement has bar, foosball, darts, games, etc. Guests have private bedroom and shared use of living spaces (besides master bedroom, camper, sheds). Gas grill, passive solar panels, rain gardens, and native plant meadow are located outside. Guests have a private bedroom with queen bed and shared access to every other room, except for master bedroom. Guests may use all kitchen appliances, television (no cable, but Amazon Fire Stick is hooked up and the antenna picks up a few local stations), dvd player, full and half bathroom, laundry closet, deck, driveway, and yard. I ask that you not go through drawers/cabinets (besides bathroom, kitchen, laundry closet) or use personal items (musical instruments, kayak, etc) without advanced permission. Check in time is flexible but must be agreed upon in advance if before listed time. We're very nice, open-minded people and will respect your privacy. If I'm not present during your stay, someone else will be available to assist. Great, safe neighborhood with mature trees (formerly a tree farm), wonderful neighbors and easy access to just about everything you could want. There are two grocery stores, a shopping mall, and plenty of restaurants within two miles. Uber and Lyft are active throughout the area. Two blocks to local bus stop. One mile to Route 30. Two miles to downtown, Franklin & Marshall College, or Park City Mall. Three miles to Route 283 or the Amtrak train station. Five miles to Millersville University. Eight miles to Spooky Nook sports complex. Less than 45 minutes to Harrisburg, Hershey, Reading, or York. 1.5 hours to Baltimore, 2 hours to Philadelphia, or 3 hours to New York City. This property is my home. The bedroom is my son's space when he is here and we do not have guests. It has a queen size bed, desk with chair, and shared closet space. The house is kept clean and tidy, but there are expected imperfections throughout the property.
