The space Black River Cottages is an 11-cottage waterfront resort in beautiful Prince Edward County — perfectly located just 20 minutes from Sandbanks Provincial Park, 10 minutes from wineries and Picton, and surrounded by farm stands with fresh local treats. Each private, air-conditioned cottage has a kitchen, Wi-Fi, Smart TV with Netflix, deck, BBQ, and fire pit. Enjoy a heated pool, canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, bikes, playground, zip line, and a pontoon boat rental for the ultimate day on the water. Guest access When you arrive, head to the office to pick up your welcome envelope — inside you’ll find your cottage keys and any passes for your stay. If we’re not around, no worries at all — just grab your envelope and make yourself at home. We’re an 11-cottage family resort, so you might see other guests enjoying the pool, playground, or water toys. There’s plenty of space for kids to run and play safely, and more than enough canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, and bicycles for everyone to share. Other things to note We provide pillows, duvets, and duvet covers. Please bring your own sheets, blankets, and towels — or opt for our linen rental for $20 per bed, which includes a fitted sheet, pillowcase, bath towel, pillow, and duvet with cover. Please note: A $300 cleaning/damage deposit is required before check-in and refunded after inspection. Our cottages are pet-free to ensure a clean, allergy-friendly stay.
