Located in downtown Madawaska, ME, the most northeast corner of the United States at the border of Edmundston, Canada, in Aroostook County Northern Maine. House is divided into 3 apartments with the best and largest one being this two-story vacation rental facing Main Street with private entrance. Onsite property manager/housekeeper available should you need anything during your stay. This is a dedicated vacation rental with all new supplies and no personal items. Walk to shops and restaurants. Apartment in the heart of Madawaska, Maine, has been completely renovated and has beautiful touches such as a wall mural and antique style ceilings. Granite countertops in the kitchen and claw-foot bathtub add to the richness of this property. There's tons to do in the area from visiting maple sugar camps, to skiing in Canada, to hunting, ice fishing, snow shoeing, cross country skiing and some of the best four wheel and snowmobile trails in the country. You won't be bored! And for those nights where you want to be cozy at home with family and friends, we have a few fun games and excellent books for your enjoyment. Best places to eat within walking distance of the apartment are Tim Hortons (right across the street), Chez Helen's and Jeff's Pizza. Snow mobilers can park their sleds in our huge garage. Whole private two-story apartment with sun room porch, living room, kitchen, bathroom and 3 bedrooms. We live in the next town over but we are available any time by phone call or text. But for fastest service, contact the onsite property manager in the apartment next door, Malachi, or housekeeper, Diane, in the back apartment. Two things stand out most about Madawaska: snowmobile trails and Acadian culture. Discover for yourself what it has to offer. (Snowmobile trail maps available in the apartment.) If you bring your passport, you can cross the bridge to Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada just a few blocks away (once the border reopens). There you will find very cosmopolitan restaurants and quaint shops. From the apartment, Four Seasons park is a few miles away where people from Canada and locally come for miles of cross country ski and hiking trails. It's easy to walk to anything you need in town or hop in your car for a quick drive. No traffic lights in town and easy free parking available everywhere. We also have Tesla charging available. Please bring your own converter end and you can park next to the rental and plug in. Other thing to note is that we rarely get very hot weather here but when we do, upstairs only has fans, not AC. Downstairs has a heat pump AC to keep everything cool.
