Green Door Lofts-Silo Chic Loft Silos/Downtown

Green Door Lofts, also known as "Funky Town" as coined by Chip on Fixer Upper "Urban Loft Challenge," is a 9-unit luxury loft complex in the heart of Waco's bustling Silo District. We are next door to the historic Hippodrome Dinner Theater and steps away from eclectic shops, antique stores, wine tasting rooms, and live music. Magnolia Market is an easy walk away, or take the free trolley that stops outside. Each loft is crafted with a unique flair and offers a distinct experience. The space The Silo Chic Loft is our newest loft at the Green Door Lofts! This loft combines glitter and glam with a unique urban farmhouse feel. Elegant chandeliers adorn the living and dining areas, contrasting the unfinished, exposed brick walls still leftover from the 1920s. A large, private balcony overlooks downtown Waco's most popular avenue, a tree-lined street filled with people enjoying the sights and sounds of the city. The master bedroom boasts a king-sized bed with high quality, pressed, triple-sheeted linens. This loft is truly amazing and the balcony overlooking Austin Avenue is very private, a great place to enjoy coffee and watch the city wake up. Unlike our other 1-bedroom lofts, there is no Murphy bed in the living area. There is a sofa that converts into a day bed but at best can hold one small person or child. If more space is needed, consider our bigger 1-bedroom lofts (Tuna, Retro, or Urban Cowboy), the Magnolia Loft (2/2, sleeps 6), Bo Ho Loft (2/2, sleeps 6), or the Stained Glass Loft (4/3, sleeps 8). The loft has an in-unit washer/dryer. Guests will also love the fully-equipped kitchen, complete with coffee and tea. Entertainment includes a large screen SmartTV with Direct TV and free wifi. The building's courtyard has a seasonally HEATED POOL with lounge chairs and tables. The mezzanine deck overlooks the avenue below - perfect for people watching! This loft overlooks an avenue in the heart of the city's shopping and entertainment district so noise may be heard inside the living room. The bedroom is interior and very quiet with the door closed. However, I do find that if 3 adults are sharing the room you might find the Retro or Urban Cowboy better suited due to noise considerations in the living area, especially Thursday- Saturday. Even so this is not terrible and people have not mentioned this. I am just being particular! Finally, the Silo Chic Loft is on the second floor and accessed only by stairs. If this is an issue, please consider our 4 bedroom listing on the first floor.
