Monhegan Suite in the Oakland House Inn

Our innkeeping-family has been welcoming guests to the the Blue Hill Peninsula of Maine since July 4, 1889. We are perfectly situated directly on the saltwater of the Reach and the freshwater of Walker Pond. The Oakland House has two private ocean beaches. In the distance, you can see the Pumpkin Island Lighthouse and even the Camden Hills! Our guests also have access to the Blue Dot and Yellow Dot trails that lead up to a phenomenal view of the waterfront from Lookout Rock. The space On the second floor of the historic inn, this large two-bedroom corner suite with king and queen beds plus a pull-out sofa is ideal for families up to six people and includes a private bath with tub/shower off the queen bedroom. Spectacular ocean sunset views over the Camden Hills and Penobscot Bay. 485 square feet. Guest access Guests have access to two private ocean beaches and hiking trails on the property. Guests also have access to the library, parlor, and interior dining room, as well as the front porch with rockers and lap blankets overlooking the manicured gardens. Other things to note Kayak, canoe, paddle board, and bike rentals are available from the main office. No pets, non-smoking. Thank you.
