The space We have TWO rooms available. The upstairs private bedroom is clean and spacious (24 x 24 feet) and sleeps up to four people. There is a full bathroom upstairs, with shower/tub and toilet separated by a door from the two sinks and two mirrors. Each of the bedrooms are keyed separately. The beds are comfy with wrapped mattress protectors to keep them extra clean. The room is equipped with a small fridge and a coffee maker with coffee/tea, and some special little extras! Guest access The guest bedrooms are up a flight of stairs, with a large sitting area, and shelves and shelves of books and board games. There is also a desk to use while you contemplate life or consider writing about your experiences. The main house is open to our guests (with the exception of our master suite and adult child’s room). Feel free to cook meals in our kitchen and do a load of laundry. During your stay We enjoy sharing our home. Judy works full-time, but Michael is often around as his commute to work is only steps away from the main house. We enjoy sharing our knowledge of the area, and Michael can provide great tips on motorcycle routes. He could even be your guide for a small fee! Other things to note Our home sits on top of a hill, in the middle of the acreage, a gated entry and a peaceful, quiet country environment. Great for taking walks, or sitting on the deck. Little traffic, only country noise, it’s a quiet and relaxing retreat! We have 6 resident deer, 4 quail and numerous bunnies. Whispering Wind borders on the Snoqualmie River, one of the premier fishing and hunting areas. If that's not your thing, plenty of other activities are in the area including, wineries, boating and beautiful views to photograph. The road is both a popular bicycle and motorcycle route. (That’s how we discovered the place.) We are just miles from two ski resorts and some of the most amazing hiking to be found anywhere, as well as, the world famous Woodinville wineries; and yet just minutes to Seattle, filled with arts, theater, restaurants and hundreds of attractions. Our home, and clean barn, can also host events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, yoga retreats, reunions and more. There are two rooms available: The Garden Room (sleeps 4) and The Retro Room (sleeps 4).
