Just finished awesome renovations! Incredibly fun, magical house great for families & friend groups looking to get away from it all. Large & private on 26 acres only 5 minutes from the town of Woodstock. Large living space to hang out & cook leisurely meals eaten around the enormous dining room table. Short Term Rental Permit: 23N-284 The space This house centers around an enormous open main floor with massive open ceilings, making it perfect for gatherings of friends and family in a lodge-like space. The property sits on 26 acres of undeveloped woodlands so you have plenty of quiet and privacy. A screened-in porch and huge wraparound deck with a big 8-person cedar hot tub are perfect for relaxing during the summer or having a bbq. There is a big yard (in addition to over 20 acres of woods), including a fire pit and lawn for games like horseshoes and bocce. For the winter, there is a great wood stove on the main floor for cozy nights to curl up and watch a movie on the big screen TV. The big kitchen is great for cooking group meals and includes a large wooden banquet table that easily fits 10. There are 6 bedrooms (3 King, 2 Queen and 1 room with 3 bunk beds). The master bedroom includes a ladder up to the tower, perfect for stargazing. It's a really quirky, unique space with a ton of character....check out the 5-star reviews to hear directly from past guests. And those are all from before a major renovation that includes a brand new kitchen, fully renovated bathrooms, the addition of a 3rd bathroom + 2 additional bedrooms, redoing the deck, adding an outdoor kitchen....and much more! High speed internet makes it great for longer term weekly or monthly stays and remote working. Discounts available for longer term stays. Guest access You will have access to the entire house and property. The only areas off limits is the basement as I use it for personal storage. Other things to note Cell Service is very poor. However, we just had hi speed WiFi installed so you can make calls and text over WiFi if your service allows. There is a landline as well. We recently upgraded the HVAC to include AC.
