Outside fire pit and grilling area on a lakeside patio. Private dock use with access to a canoe and kayaks to enjoy beautiful Clark Lake . The cabin is close to Downtown Nisswa which has unique shops, special events such as music festivals and art fairs. StoneHouse coffee is famous for their freshly baked scones and unique coffee selections. The Big Axe Brewery creates new craft beer releases throughout the year. The Chocolate Ox is a candy lovers dream and they have great ice cream too. In the summer, there are turtle races for kids, a farmers market, strawberry and blueberry picking and more. The Paul Bunyan Trail has a paved surface that winds through the lake country for biking and walking. In the winter, there is access to a large snowmobile trail system, cross country skiing, downhill skiing and tubing at Ski Gull, plus ice fishing. The cabin is within a few miles of Shaffer's grocery store, the Paul Bunyan trail is right out our back door and is great for running, walking, and biking through the lake country and also provides access to downtown Nisswa. On the lake, take a canoe or kayak to explore. The cabin is good place for those who want to stay at a fairly quiet rustic cabin in the tall Norway pines. It is in a natural environment, so chipmunks, rabbits, spiders, bugs, eagles, loons, turtles, fish, and occasionally a bear may be in the area. So I suggest being comfortable in a natural environment. The cabin does have neighbors on both sides, so you may see neighbors and others on the lake.
