Please plan on bringing your own. There is a limited supply of linens available for rent at the office cottage, subject to availability. • Grey Wolf Cabin (Cabin #2) has a private bathroom with sink, toilet, and hot shower. • Cabin includes a combination air-conditioning and heating window unit. Switch modes as needed. • Cabins #1-4 all share access to the adjacent large well equipped full kitchen (with 2 full-size refrigerators, oven, stovetop burners, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, pots and pans, plates and glasses) and dining room cabin for cooking, dining, and hanging out. • Each sleep cabin includes a mini-fridge. • There is a large communal bon-fire pit outside the Shared Kitchen Cabin, with various picnic tables and 2 shared charcoal grills for the use of cabins 1-4. • Amenities at Buffalo Gap include a private lake with white sand beach, Lakeview Cafe/Dining Hall with Wifi, 0.7 acre fenced-in dog park, swimming, catch-and-release fishing, spa (cosmetology & massage available for a fee), lakefront wood-fired sauna (fee), on-site hiking trails, volleyball, basketball courts, complementary use of kayaks and canoes, and various lawn games. • Firewood is located outside of the office cottage and is sold by the bundle. Please deposit payment at the black drop box on the left side of the office cottage porch. • When not privately rented, the Beach House offers games such as ping-pong, and cornhole for guest use. • Buffalo Gap is a pet-friendly destination; the pet-fee is $20 for up to two pets per cabin. • Wi-fi is available in the Shared Kitchen Cabin as well as at the Lakeview Cafe/Dining Hall building at the center of camp. History Buffalo Gap Retreat's cabins and facilities are part of a former kids sleep-away camp, called Buffalo Gap Camp, dating back to 1954. We are gradually breathing new life into the property. You will be sent the code to your cottage the morning of your arrival.
