This cozy studio apartment is 3 mi. from GSP, 4 mi. from BMW, 2 mi. from downtown Greer, and a mile from the Greer Memorial Hospital. It's close to shopping & restaurants, yet has a country feel nurtured by fruit trees and a few chickens. WE HAVE PARKING SPACE FOR ONLY 1 REGULAR-SIZED VEHICLE. Please note: We do not allow smoking anywhere on our property. We don't want to breathe the smoke, nor do we want to endanger future guests who have allergies. We do not allow animals. WHERE THE STUDIO IS: The building is located next to our home on the same 3/4-acre lot and shares the same driveway. It is on the second floor. When you arrive, you can pull down the driveway and park on the left side, nearer our house, and right in front of the covered stairway that leads to the apartment. Please note: There is space for one vehicle only. WHAT THE STUDIO FEATURES: *Full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, and electric range allow you to easily cook and clean up meals, if you would rather not eat out. *Light-blocking window shades let you darken the room if you need to sleep during the day. *Cupboards are stocked with pans, utensils, dinnerware, and glasses. *Spice racks are stocked with a wide variety of spices. *A small hideaway ironing board and iron make it easy for you to remove the travel marks from your clothing. *Wi-Fi and Roku provided. We do not provide cable service. *Queen-size bed and twin-size sofa sleeper *Full bath with tub, hair dryer, and toiletries. *Access to ground-floor laundry for guests who stay 7 days or more. *Coded keypad entry provides access regardless of what time you arrive. * We cannot accommodate pets. We make every attempt to keep our spaces “animal-free” for those who might suffer from allergies due to pet dander. You'll have access to the apartment and the screen porch. Feel free to take in the back yard as well. In the apartment, you will find information with details about our locale. We are happy to assist you or answer questions, but are equally content if you want your privacy. We try to meet our guests when they arrive, but respect their privacy throughout their stay. We are located in a lovely, usually-quiet, community with mature shade trees and relatively little traffic. Since we are only 2 miles from GSP International Airport, we regularly see and hear planes during takeoff and landing. Despite this, we’ve been told that our neighborhood is quiet and welcoming. We have great neighbors and a safe neighborhood. We are just 5 minutes from the GSP airport and I-85. You can be in downtown Greer in fewer than 5 minutes, Greenville or Spartanburg in 20. BMW and Michelin are within 4 miles, and the Prisma hospital in Greer is within 1 mile. We are close to parks, shopping and restaurants. Public transportation is not available, but Uber and Lyft drivers serve the area. Although we don't provide regular breakfast fare, we do place a large jug of filtered water in the frig and fill a bowl with assorted snacks. We have a parking spot for only one regular-sized vehicle. We try to recycle many items. You will find 3 trash cans and one bin on the gravel walkway next to the apartment steps. We’d be pleased if you would place your rinsed aluminum cans, glass bottles and plastic containers in the appropriate trash can, and your flattened cardboard in the bin. We do our own cleaning to ensure a high standard for our guests. Our units are well suited to enable social distancing, as there are no "shared spaces."
