It is available for double occupancy with a fee of $25 per night for each additional adult guest. The large back deck has a barbeque setting. The home has an open floor plan and is perfect for entertaining and playing pool. A reliable Wi-Fi setup creates a comfortable 'office' for those who have remote work arrangements. Two bedrooms and a bath are located at one end with a privacy door to the living area and a primary bedroom and bath are on the other end. The home has front and back patios. The front patio captures the morning sun for coffee and the rear patio captures the afternoon sun. The back patio has a dining table, several lounge chairs, and a barbecue. A professional pool table is adjacent to a wet bar in the living area and serves as good entertainment and family fun after a daytime hike or golf. A wood-burning stove and a large natural stone fireplace are in the great room. The home has reliable Wi-Fi and Direct TV. The well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances has everything for full-scale cooking of meals for family and friends. Access to the house is controlled by an owner-issued passcode. The code is the last four digits of the phone that was used to make the reservation. Guests are encouraged to use the decks, pool table, and the entire main floor except for a locker by the dinette and a small closet in the primary bedroom. The lower level garage is for the owner's use. A property manager is available to tour the home with you and answer any questions you may have. The property manager will be able to show all of the kitchen equipment as well as the indoor laundry facility. If you are attending a wedding and want to indulge in adult beverages my property manager can provide sober transportation if available (there may be a fee for this service). The home is within walking distance of the Millpond, local grocery store and quaint boutique stores. Hiking trails begin right outback of the home. The Millpond provides local swimming and water activities and a "yacht club" where watercraft equipment is available to rent. The Lake basin area including gold lake, salmon lake, sardine lake and packer lake are within a 15 minute drive. The spring runoff in the area is captured at Frazier falls , a beautiful waterfall in the heart of Lake basin. Hiking trails start right off the main road and the lakes are accessible from your car. Lake Davis is above the city of Portola and provides excellent fishing and boat launching facilities. There is no public transportation in this area. If you are going to an event or wedding and would like a designated driver Shelly may be able to provide this for you for an additional fee. Books showing local hiking trails and information on dining and activities are available in the cabin. Several games are available in the bottom compartment of the hutch. We provide the necessary equipment for the barbeque (grill, charcoal, lighter fluid, and utensils) all we ask is that you clean the barbeque before leaving. There will be a $50.00 charge if the barbeque is not cleaned. This is a nonsmoking house, however, smoking and ashtrays are allowed on the front and back decks. Dogs that do not shed are welcomed for a fee of $25. We ask that the dogs stay off of the furniture. There is a safety gate on the back patio for your dog's protection.
