Casa Vieja is a unique and spacious Finca-style villa situated in Macher, a tranquil town just a few minutes away from the popular resorts of Puerto del Carmen and Puerto Calero. The stylish interior holds an abundance of character whilst at the same time offering a modern concept of the typical Lanzarote-style Finca. The exterior of the villa boasts stunning sea views and offers a private swimming pool, along with spacious patios, an outdoor dining area with a built-in BBQ and a pool table. The cosy living area has a large 4-seater L-shaped sofa along with a Smart TV, complete with international channels and a wide selection of films and series. There is also a solid wood dining table and a comfortable reading corner. In the recently renovated, fully-equipped kitchen you will find everything you need - a large fridge/freezer, 4-ring electric hob, oven, microwave/grill, toaster, kettle and a coffee machine. The island unit and extensive amount of cupboard and worktop space make it extremely comfortable to cook delicious meals during your stay. The exterior doors of the living/dining area will bring you to a quaint little courtyard with a small seating area, which is also where you will access the two double bedrooms. Both of these bedrooms offer king-size beds, private en-suite bathrooms (both fitted with walk-in showers) and dressing tables. The master bedroom also has its own walk-in wardrobe allowing for plenty of storage space. The two single rooms hold two single beds, stand-alone wardrobes and dressing tables. In the stylish main bathroom you will find a walk-in shower as well as an elegant Victorian style bath. The outside of the property holds just as much character as the inside and is the perfect place to relax and unwind during your stay, offering multiple terrace and chill-out areas along with the spacious swimming pool area. The main terrace is equipped with a built-in BBQ and a large outdoor dining table for up to 8 people. This terrace connects directly with the pool area where you will also find a shaded chill-out terrace equipped with a table a chairs and two comfortable floating chairs ideal for complete relaxation. The spacious pool area is one of the highlights of the villa, offering a crystal-clear climatized swimming pool, 8 comfortable sun beds and beautiful views of the ocean and the nearby towns. There is also a pool table available for guest use. Guests will have private access to the entire property including the driveway, main house, outside pool and terrace areas as well as the gardens surrounding the property. Casa Vieja is situated in the tranquil village of lower Macher. Its ideal location allows you to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the quiet town whilst being just a short 2 minute drive away from the busier tourist resorts of Puerto del Carmen and Puerto Calero. Puerto del Carmen is one of the most popular resorts on the island and has a huge variety of bars, restaurants, shops and entertainment centres. Here you will find a lovely selection of beaches such as Playa Grande, the biggest beach in the town, or Playa Chica a smaller cove-style beach which is popular for snorkelling and diving. Over in the second closest tourist resort, Puerto Calero, you will find a beautiful small promenade along the harbour area with restaurants serving delicious local food, small local shops and a few cocktail bars. This town offers a more relaxed vibe. Just up the road from the villa around 900m away you will find a large Eurospar supermarket, as well as a petrol station around 500m away. If you wish to travel by foot there are some off-road paths that you can take to access the nearby resorts, but they may be slightly rocky we recommend proper footwear is used. Taxis to the two closest resorts would cost between €5-€8. There is a bus stop situated just 600m away from the villa with lines taking you to all areas of the island. Free wifi is offered throughout the villa. The front driveway of the villa is fitted with CCTV cameras for extra security.
