Studio cottage proximate to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and St. Mary Medical Center Long Beach. The space This newly renovated studio cottage has been upgraded with a full, fully equipped, dine-in kitchen, complete with a quartz countertop, new double sink and new appliances, some retro inspiration! The spacious living area has lots of storage for your personal effects, including a large walk-in closet and storage ottoman. The full size Murphy bed will ensure a comfortable rest, and it can be stored away should you require any additional space during the day. A large smart tv with internet for your streaming services and desk complete this relaxing living area. Outside you will find a private patio with a conversation set and bistro set for your enjoyment. Ideally located near Long Beach Medical Centre, MemorialCare Miller Children's and Women's Hospital and several other medical facilities as well as several grocery stores, fast food chains and coffee shops. Guest access We will meet with you on the day of check-in to show you how to access the property and lay of the land. Parking is via the street (no parking on premises). Other things to note The rental is a detached, cottage-style, studio house ("backhouse") behind the main house - we live in the main house and there is another unit above the garage, both separate from the backhouse; you will have your complete privacy and a separate entrance from us, but the outdoor common area space is shared with the other unit. Laundry is outside. Also, please note the bed is a Murphy bed (can fold up to hide away) and the bathroom shower is on the smaller side, on par with NY-and SF-style bathrooms, but functional. Parking is via the street. Well-behaved, indoor cats are permitted. We don't allow outdoor cats due to safety reasons i.e. coyotes, and other critters. Small, well behaved, well-trained, dogs that only go outside with your supervision i.e. leashed may be considered. We do not have the outdoor space for dogs to roam free as it is a shared, common, outdoor space with the other guest unit. Additionally, there are dogs on our side of the premises and they are territorial. Pet fee and pet deposit may apply. Long-term bookings over 30 days are subject to a rental agreement.
