This sunny studio has a small private balcony with city/harbor views. The kitchen is separate from living room / sleeping area & has sep. bathroom with tub shower- comfortable for 2 guests for short/long stays. This NO PET (or other animals) suite is on the ground floor in a private courtyard setting with faux foliage/grass. Washer/dryer & ample parking on site although you don't need a car here! With a walk score of 94 this is perfect for execs, business travelers, couples or small family. This studio is spacious and welcoming, having everything that a single person or couple needs while in San Diego, whether you're here for business or pleasure. We have a large IKEA Queen bed w/ firm mattress. The private bathroom has a tub/shower, toilet & vanity sink. The French doors open to your own private balcony which is a great place to see the courtyard, city views, or the harbor with a coffee in your hand. The living area has a lovely couch and coffee table while the well-equipped kitchen can be used to make your own meals or to sit and enjoy something delivered! For the safety of our other residents, we do not allow PETS or other animals on the property. Guests access through the front security gate, into a raised courtyard area and the suite is on the right. Guests will enter through their own private front door after opening the dead-bolt and door handle lock. You have exclusive access to the entire suite. We will always stop and try to talk with guests whenever we see them, but otherwise we tend to leave guests to themselves. We are around for help most of the time as we're either in another apartment ourselves or at another property that is close by. We are located in a residential neighborhood. There are several grocery stores within 2 blocks north-east of us. Little Italy restaurants are 3-4 blocks to the west and Balboa Park is 6 blocks to the east. Downtown is 8 blocks immediately south of us. Uber & Lyft operate well here. We have electric bikes and scooter operating here too! Local buses also go down town (route 11), over to PB (route 30) or beyond. Very easy access to freeways I-5 And just 10 min drive from the airport, 15 min to Coronado and 15 min to La Jolla. This area has a great city walk score of 94, so you might not even need a vehicle while here! The local Mass Transit System (MTS) includes buses, trolley and trains. The fares are generally $2.25 - $2.50 for bus & trolley for one way fare, but a day pass is only $5 using a Compass Card for frequent usage but there is a $2 fee for the card, that can then be topped up when needed. Cards can only be bought at certain locations; the nearest is Albertsons downtown (655 14th Street, 1.3miles) or Vons in Hillcrest (515 W. Washington Street, 1.5miles). There is an online App for the MTS to figure out the schedules or go to sdmts.com . The nearest bus stop is 2 blocks east & 1 south of us (at 1st Av & Grape St), & goes downtown (route 11). The nearest trolley is by the waterfront park at 1550 California St; a 12min walk from here & goes north to Old Town, then east to SDSU, El Cajon & Santee, or in the other direction (south) to the Convention Center & Petco Park. Bus 901 from Front St & B St goes over the bridge to Coronado. There is also a ferry across to Coronado from behind the Convention Center at (5th Av pier) that leaves 15 mins past the hour & every 30 mins. PETS (or other animals) are NOT permitted. No smoking - means no smoking of ANY kind ANY where on the premises. This includes e-cigs, cigars, vaporizers, hookahs etc. You will forfeit the deposit and be asked to leave the premises. If you see anyone with an animal, smoking or are being affected by someone with an animal, smoking/vaping etc., please notify us as soon as possible. Please don't turn up with or invite other guests that are not accounted for on the reservation. These things break our house rules & the owner may have Airbnb cancel the booking with no refunds and you will be asked to leave the premises. We also have several external cameras for our guest's security and our peace of mind as hosts which we use to clarify any issues with respect to guest safety and/or house rules.
