Island Grove - Sweetwater Branch Inn

Island Grove is a new studio room which is located in the North Florida Cottage on the Sweetwater property through the gardens and past the pool. This modern studio room offers a queen size Murphy Bed for the sleeping accommodations (modern couch that transforms into a queen size bed) This studio also includes a bathroom with a shower and bathtub combo. This large room also includes a full kitchen including a microwave, oven with stovetop, coffee maker, dishwasher, and full refrigerator with a freezer and ice maker. Towards the back of the room is an additional couch for extra seating. This beautiful room is surrounded by a full wall of windows. Natural light streams into the windows to complete this sun room area. This is a pet friendly cottage. Please note, housekeepers will not enter the room to clean if the pet(s) are not crated. Crates are not provided by Sweetwater. Island Grove also has the option of adjoining rooms to the new Lester's Place also located in the North Florida Cottage. Island Grove has central A/C and heating with a private thermostat. Free Wi-Fi and one reserved parking space right next to the cottage is included. The space Located 5 blocks away from downtown Gainesville, the Sweetwater Branch Inn is a unique staple in town. Comprised of two historical Victorian houses, a courtyard, well-maintained gardens, and a salt water pool with Jacuzzi, the space truly feels like an oasis. Guest access You can access the room you are staying plus the dining areas, living room, and patio located in the main house. You can also access the courtyard areas, McKenzie Gardens, small putting green, and our salt water pool with hot tub. Free bike rentals, breakfast, and wine and cheese hour are also available for you to enjoy!
