The Wagon is located in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, is nestled in the woods, supremely private, off-grid, and deeply serene. Besides the natural chorus of the woods, listen for the loll of the nearby dairy cows. Everything you need is supplied except WiFi, your imagination, gypsy souls, and groceries/ice. One request: As we've had drone enthusiasts stay with us and it made our neighbors uncomforable we ask "no drones please and thank you" The space You will be the only ones in the woods. It is spooky and delicious at night. Though there is no shower at The Hut, there is a place for a cold water wash-up in the warmer months and a 'fancy' outdoor privy. Some clean water (2 gallons) is provided for cooking, washing, and dousing fires to get you started. There are also another 2 gallons of filtered drinking water provided. You'll have the choice between the intimate indoor kitchen or the open-air outdoor kitchen. There is a solar operated lamp that works as long as the battery holds, and we provide battery-operated lights when the battery is depleted. There is a propane heater for the cooler months and an outdoor fire ring. Firewood is provided by the hosts and the surrounding woods. Depending on rainfall, there may be dryer periods that would require no outdoor fires due to the risk of forest fires. Reminder: no running water or electricity beyond the solar operated lamp. Cell coverage is patchy. Winter guests should be comfortable snow shoeing. There is no WIFI. The bed is comfy yet quite small, a bit smaller than a double. My husband and I enjoy the closeness but be prepared to cuddle. Sleeps 1 comfortably or 2 people who really like each other ;-). This is truly a tiny house, 7X14. Please note the Pet Policy. Though we allow for one small, well-behaved dog, we ask that you keep your pup with you at all times and to not leave your friend in the wagon when you're not there. We also ask that you be aware there are neighbors with cats. Thank you for keeping your canine under your mindful watch and control during your visit. Guest access The Wagon is located on a 6 acre wood with trails for walking. The location of the entrance to the woods is between 2 properties that are not a part of the Airbnb. Our neighbors are protective of their privacy, and we want to preserve that, so we'll have our guests first come to our house at 1284 S. Albany Rd and we'll orient you to the space. Then, if you need additional water, firewood, or anything else, you'll know where to find us. For more trail walking or skiing, you can take a short drive to the Craftsbury Outdoor Center for cross-country skiing and running trails or nearby Barr Hill Nature Reserve in Greensboro. Because we'll be orienting you to the area, we ask for you to coordinate your arrival before 5 pm (by 3:30 pm in the winter; gets dark early) so we have enough daylight to show you around. Other things to note Due to no electricity, outdoor privy, walking trails, and a short walk up to the wagon from the parking pad, wise to bring clothes/boots suitable for our wonderful fall/winter weather. It would be wise to print out GPS maps as GPS isn't always functional up here in the NEK. These country roads look very similar and it is easy to get turned around. Registration Details MRT-10126712
