The space ★Bedroom★ -The bedroom of the cottage has french windows that open to a riverside deck -You can hear the soothing sounds of nature and the river from the room. -It has an en-suite bathroom with hot water, a double bed, and a wardrobe. -The attached patio has a few steps walking access to the riverside via the back garden ★Living Room★ -The living room is super spacious with 5 convertible sofa beds and has access to the riverside deck -Big open windows create a backdrop of greenery and river for the living room -There is a small desk with a chair for you to work with a laptop -There is a full bathroom with hot water attached to the living room -A front patio attached to the living room has a view of a seasonal waterfall. ★Kitchenette & Dining area★ -A compact kitchenette with basic utensils and gas is provided along with a fridge and purified water -Crockery, glasses, and cutlery are available for all the guests. -There is various outdoor furniture that can be arranged in any space you want for having meals. ★During your stay★ - This cottage is an ideal place for those who are looking for an unadulterated nature experience in the countryside. Meditate to the sounds of the birds and the flowing river that is a step away from the cottage. - The place is away from city lights allowing for minimal light pollution which makes it an ideal place for stargazing from September until May. The cottage is the preferred choice of pro astronomers who have photographed the milky way, nebula, and other celestial objects from our location. - The ample outdoor space and nature make it an ideal place for you and your furry friends. - In the versatile outdoor spaces, enjoy outdoor games and activities with - your loved ones. We have provided badminton, board games, and carrom, to keep you entertained during your stay. - The property is full of seasonal flowers and indigenous wild fruits plantations that you can explore during your stay. - During your stay, you will get to taste the locally prepared veg and non veg food in authentic Maharashtrian style. Guest access - You will have private access to the entire cottage and lawn area during your stay. There is a covered riverside sit-out next to the cottage. - A wide seasonal river flows by the property and tiny waterfalls become active in rains. The river flows at its peak in monsoons. There are small paddy fields on the property where rice is grown during monsoons. - A riverside open platform for yoga or morning meditations. A cozy board game/picnic area with exclusive seating made from natural rocks found on the property. - Ample open parking space available for 4 cars. ** IN HOUSE MEALS** Please refer to photos of food menu and charges under photo section of "Dining Area" Other things to note ★Important Details★ - Power outages are common in rural areas, especially during monsoons. - There is a small petrol generator which will power lights, fans, and charging points. It will not power the refrigerator and main water pump. - We have a separate motor pump to replenish the water tank that runs on the generator. Hot water is available 24 x 7 as it is a gas geyser. - Genset needs a cool down period of 30 minutes between consecutive 3 hours run. You can manually turn on the Generator again. - WiFi provided has a 2 GB daily data limit and may slow down if too many devices are connected and usage is heavy. If it is exhausted, we will do one complimentary top-up recharge per day. - On rare occasions if there is a fault in the Jio tower, our WiFi won’t work as it works with a Jio sim card. - Kitchenette usage by guests is limited to make baby food or tea/coffee only. Only basic utensils, tea, coffee, sugar, salt is provided. - The house is surrounded by greenery and hence post sunset a lot of moths and insects may enter the house if doors are kept open. You must keep windows and doors closed or use bug screens provided to avoid insects entering inside. - Swimming in the river water is dangerous during rapid flow, even for advanced swimmers. Please refrain from swimming or entering the stream when the water is deep and the current is strong. You will solely be responsible for mishaps/ damages/ loss. - You can safely enter the water for a swim or dip when the water is steady and shallow. - Surroundings can become slippery so please observe caution while walking bare feet and use shoes with good grip outdoors. Avoid venturing out in dark areas with no lights. Please be aware of your surroundings. -The nearest market is in Velhe which is 30 mins drive from the place. No last-minute arrangements for food are possible. - We advise guests to carry necessary items from the city and inform us of required meals 24 hrs in advance in order to avoid any inconvenience.
