Downtown Historic Home

We enjoy "welcoming the world" into our 140 year old home in downtown Versailles. Staying here will give you a quintessential small town experience, with malt shop, antique stores, a library, and a variety of locally owned restaurants all within walking distance. Yet we are 10 minutes by car from Bluegrass Airport, world class racing at Keeneland, and less than 30 minutes from stunning horse farms, the state capital, KSU, the Kentucky Castle, and many locations on the Bourbon Trail. The space Gain access to your private room via your own coded entrance. Just a few stairs and steps away, through a shared space, you'll find your own private bathroom. Your room is on one side of the house; our space is on the other. Our dog is friendly and excited to meet you. Our 145 year old house is eclectic & full of quirky charm, including original wood floors, non working fireplaces, different door frames, and solid plaster construction. Please come prepared to adapt to the challenges of staying in an older home situated on a busy street. Guest access Access to the updated kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining, laundry room, fenced in back yard, pergola, and outside fire pit are all available upon request. During your stay Steve and I are available by phone, text or email for any questions or concerns. Please plan to meet us when you arrive so we can orient you to the space and introduce you our dog, Mitzi. After that, you set the tone for our communication. We would love to get to know you, but will also respect your privacy and give you space. Other things to note Although English is my first language, I also speak Portuguese and some Spanish. Additionally, my husband knows some German.
