Our home is your tranquil getaway located in the heart of Prince Edward County on a quiet family friendly cul-de-sac in the small lakeside town of Wellington. Occupancy is firm at 10 persons total (infants and children included)• No exceptions (per licensing & fire code compliance) Not suitable for parties or boisterous groups. Kindly review all rules and listing prior to sending a booking request. The space Wellington is THE desired location in PEC. Our quaint lakeside village is conveniently walkable to amazing restaurants & shops on Main Street; while also having close access to the grocer and LCBO. Walk to Wellington Beach, weekly Farmer's Market, and the waterfront Children’s Pirate Park. Just a cycle away from the hub of wine country with several wineries off the Millennium Trail, this is a great home base for exploring our wine country. 25 minute scenic drive to three amazing beaches at Sandbanks Provincial Park or 15 minutes to North Beach Provincial Park. Our home is a open-concept raised rancher with two defined living spaces. 5 bedrooms and 3 FULL baths! The perfect space for two families or multiple couples. Main Floor: -3 bedrooms -2 full baths -Open concept kitchen, dining, and living area. Lower level: -2 bedrooms -1 full bath -Kitchenette -Large living area with daybed and TV. Tankless hot water means everyone gets a hot shower! We have minimal outdoor space, but guests are welcome to enjoy our small balcony and the lower patio in our back yard. Cushions are stored in garage to keep them clean & dry for guests. The front yard is grass and located on the end of a cul-de-sac so perfect for kids to play. Bring along your bikes and hop on the Millennium Trail right beside our house which winds 46 km through the County with several wineries in peddling distance. Ideal Bikes in Wellington is a great rental within walking distance or West Lake Ebikes & County Bike rentals delivers bike right to the door! You are welcome to store your bikes & gear in our garage. We are just two short blocks down Warf St. (4 minute walk) to the center of Wellington where you can find many eateries; Midtown Brewery, The Drake Devonshire, La Condesa, Idle Wild, The Good Place, & Creekside Cafe. We love cocktails lakeside on the patio at The Drake Devonshire or The Lakeside Hotel. Keep it casual @ North Docks overlooking the marina or Midtown Brewery. Apres diner cocktails at the NEW Bar Duchess! All in walking distance to your accommodation! The Wellington Farmers Market (Saturday mornings), the local grocery store, Lakeshore Farms Market, & LCBO are all within reasonable walking distance or a short drive! Cool down at The Lakeside Motel which is a ten minute walk and features a beautiful outdoor lakeside patio & hip poolside bar. $25 & towel deposit gets you use of the pool. Wander Resort has launched a new Beach Club, with towel service and beachside loungers or upgrade to a private cabana. 7 minute drive. Advanced reservations You can’t beat the central location of Wellington has within PEC. We are a 15 minute drive to nearby Hillier with an abundance of the most amazing wineries in PEC. Airbnb Booking Fees Breakdown -Our nightly rate includes cleaning fees & HST. -Guest Service Fee • Airbnb’s Service Fee -Occupancy Taxes • Airbnb’s HST on your Service Fee -Property Use Tax • 4% mandatory Municiple Accommodation Tax (MAT) remitted to Prince Edward County Municipality & required by-law for licencing. Guest access Guests have access to our whole home except the utility room. Feel free to store bikes and beach gear in the garage however please do not park your car in the garage. Our driveway parks 4 cars. Overnight seasonal street parking free from May 1-November 1 in accordance with local bylaws. Other things to note -Weekends | Two night minimum (Friday/Saturday) -Summer | 7 days minimum -One night stays where available upon request. Please send an inquiry. •BEACH | ADVANCED RESERVATIONS REQUIRED FOR DAY USE. Guests are required to book their own reservations. We offer two Provincial Park Passes to cover admission to any of the three beaches at Sandbanks Provincial Park or North Beach Provincial Park. Saving of 42.00$ a day •The kitchen is stocked with dish soap, pots & pans, dish towels, dishes and glassware, and the basic supplies for cooking (S&P, oil & vinegar, a few spices). Coffee is provided. •Our place is serviced by municipal water and is safe to consume. Additionally, we do have an in-home Kube undercounted water filtration system. BYO reusable water bottles. •We have a small propane grill outdoors for guest use. Propane provided. Backup tank in garage. •PEC is a rural area and as such there are bugs and insects about. We are less than 400 meters from the waters edge and 10 minutes south of hundreds of hectares of farmers fields. Please keep the doors and screens shut at all times to deter insects from entering. •Laundry is available on premises & soap is provided. ******************************************** *Please note for guest safety and insurance purposes, we have a live-feed exterior audio/video surveillance system on premises. **No pets please. Service animals welcome. We kindly ask for advanced notice to arrange for additional cleaning time. ***Our driveway is gravel and parks four cars. Please do not park in the garage.
