Cozy Basement Suite

Private Basement with comfy queen sz bed, private bath and living room Is yours to enjoy. We are in a beautiful neighborhood next to the foothills, close to hiking trails, Garden of the Gods, Air Force Academy, and Manitou Springs incline. Wildlife is abundant including deer, big horn sheep, bobcats, and even bears. I have a friendly dog that lives here and will greet you as you enter, but will stay behind a gate. It’s the perfect place for hikers, animal lovers, and outdoor enthusiasts. The space Comfortably furnished basement suite ideal for anyone. Basement has tv with Roku and Hulu with live tv, and wifi. Attention to detail and cleanliness are very important to me. Can sleep up to 4 people by pulling out the queen size sofa bed. Guests are welcome to share the Back yard which includes gas grill, patio table with chairs, and a fire pit. Perfect for any vacation! Please ignore the current state of the garage ... seems like I am a storage unit for certain family members! :) Guest access You will enter through the garage and into a short hallway in the house. The entrance to the basement is right there in the hallway and you will have the entire lower level. There is a gate there between you and my dog, and he will greet you with a big bark! The basement is nice and cool - perfect for hot summer days! Your kitchenette includes microwave, refrigerator and Keurig but if you choose to use the house kitchen you are more than welcome to! You may also use backyard and patio, and the laundry area in the house. The neighborhood is close to I-25 which provides easy access to downtown or other tourist attractions. We are also close to all of the essentials you may need with King Soopers or Safeway grocery stores, Walgreens, Starbucks, Einstein Bagels, sports bar, and several restaurants all within 5 minutes from our home. We have the best ice cream shop in all of Colorado Springs close enough to walk to!:) During your stay I am retired so I will be here part of the time. I am a Colorado native and can give you suggestions for most anything you may need. Join me on the deck for a glass of wine or ice tea if you would like to!
