Suite of rooms in Capitol Hill

NEAR DTWN, 4 HOSPITALS, CHEESMAN PARK Welcome to my home! Room is furnished in 1950's MM, main BDR has a double bed, work desk & chair. Adjoining alcove BDR/sitting room has a single bed, dresser, small dining table for 2 and walk-in closet. Great for 2 travelers (surcharge applies). Lots of storage space. A bonus and a favorite w/guests: closet sink off the main room, as in European hotels! Overall, a warm, charming, old-world vibe, with lots of antiques, art, books and plants everywhere. The space The house is a charming Victorian with a sunny southern exposure, hardwood floors throughout and many period details. Lots of plants, books and artwork give the place a warm and inviting atmosphere. One block from Cheesman Park, 2 bus lines. Walking distance to DTWN Denver, restaurants, nightlife, museums, etc. The bedroom suite is furnished with: in the main room, a full size bed, 2 bedside tables, a desk and chair, a bookshelf, and in the closet for the room, a sink and drawers. In the adjoining alcove are: a large chest of drawers, an armchair, a small round dining table and 2 chairs, a twin bed and a small walk-in closet with overhead light. Many of my guests have commented that they like having a sink in the room. I have a second listing which could also be made available during peak times, or if there are a number of you in your party. That listing is called Cozy and Convenient in Capitol Hill. Guest access Guests are free to use the common areas of the house, living room, dining room, kitchen. All bedrooms and my studio are private. I had a problem with this listing once. 2 men, one in the main room, one in the single bed in the alcove, each paying $29 per night; super cheap, that's the point, to offer inexpensive housing to travelers wanting separate beds. Well, they both decided they wanted their girlfriends to visit. So Adan took it upon himself to move into the room next door which had just opened up, but which is a completely separate listing, called Cozy and Convenient. I offered him a deep discount but said he'd have to pay for that listing. He went ballistic, it was frightening. Then of course, he left a nasty and unfair review, which was very upsetting to me since I mostly get 5 star reviews. So I just want to point out, though located off the same hallway, this listing is separate from the one next to it, listed on Airbnb as Cozy and Convenient. I have always been a very conscientious host, I wouldn't dream of "misleading" anyone, so I thought it best to make a special note of this. During your stay I also live in the house and, barring some emergency, I will be here to greet you and answer any questions you might have about getting around town, restaurants and fun things to do in Denver. Other things to note A bit about me. I am an artist and some of my work can be seen throughout the house. I went to University in Europe, so I speak French and German fluently, and some Italian. I love it here in Denver, and I hope you will, too.
