A completely serene and creative space that’s just a 5 minute walk to Diver's Cove, one Laguna's most famous beaches. Leave your car parked on-site and stroll along the cliffs of the world-famous Heisler Park to Down Town Laguna Beach where you'll find art galleries, restaurants and boutiques. Take the free trolly back to the bottom of our street and enjoy barbecuing on your private balcony while starring at ocean views with Catalina and San Clemente Island on the horizon! Our home has two bedrooms. The primary room is down four small stairs, and features a California King, it's own bathroom and a private courtyard. The second bedroom is on the main level, which is up four stairs from the entrance way and has a queen bed, ocean views and access to the balcony. Both rooms have TVs so you can stream your favorite series all night long. The kitchen has a Viking stove and is fully stocked with cooking utensils. The open floor plan connects it to a breakfast bar, dining room and living room. The living room features a pull out couch that can sleep an additional two people. There are two mini split AC/heaters in the home – one here, in the main level and one downstairs in the primary bedroom. Our home is filled with art that we've collected from around the world, including our wall of crosses which is a focal point found in the entrance way to the home. We view these pieces as art, but understand that they are also a religious symbol. We are welcoming of all people, love, religions and spiritualities. Casa Lagunita is connected to another home via a private courtyard. To access the property, please enter from the alley behind Beverly Street. You are welcome to parallel park in front of the garage. The space is 21 feet long and is all yours! There is also ample street parking at the top of the hill. We understand the importance of traveling with the furry members of your family and we allow pets to stay with us for an additional charge of $30/pet. Laguna is very dog friendly and they will be welcomed almost everywhere you go, however, if you do need to leave your pet, please do not give them access to the upper balcony (it's slatted and we would hate for anything to happen to your pet while unsupervised). The lower courtyard is completely dog-safe and we would recommend utilizing this area for indoor-outdoor access. Although we won't be here to greet you, please don't hesitate to reach out to our family if you need anything during your stay. Our home is in a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood. Casa Lagunita is just a five minute walk to Diver's Cove beach and the start of Heisler Park where many of our neighbors walk their dogs, run, or enjoy the sunset from the cliffs. In the summer there's often free events held here, like concerts, yoga or sound baths. The house can be accessed from the alley behind Beverly street where we have one parking spot in front of the garage and ample street parking located at the top of the hill. At the bottom of our street is Husky Boy Burger which is a fast-casual beach grill, along with a pet store, Coast Pets. One street over (and a two minute walk from the house) is Pavilion's grocery market which has just about everything you need – including a Starbucks! There's also UPS store, a cafe, and a Mexican restaurant. Walk just 15 minutes along one of the most beautiful parks in the world and make it to Down Town Laguna Beach to window shop, grab a coffee or enjoy a community art festival. If you've had enough walking, there are several free trolley stops near the house and you can easily make it back along one of their seasonal routes. Casa Lagunita is very centrally located and you can walk just about everywhere! We often walk along Heisler Park on our way to Down Town and take in the views. But on the days we're not quite up for the 15 minutes of walking, we chose to take the free trolly which runs for most of the year and has a stop at the bottom of our hill!
