Howdie's Cottage near Nashville and Bowling Green

Our tiny studio guest cottage is located half way between Bowling Green,KY and Nashville,TN just 1.5 miles off I-65 @ exit 117. Private, beautiful farm views and convenient to everything Nashville and Southern KY has to offer. Enjoy Music city and all things Nashville. Head North for the day and visit Mammoth Caves or the Corvette Museum. Head back in the evening and we just might have a fire going in the fire pit! Short and long term guests welcome. Lots of shiplap, tongue and groove ceilings and a lovely cottage decor is what you will find in our adorable cottage. Watch the sunrise and set from the peaceful porches overlooking farmland. This cottage is great for both short getaways or longer term business travelers who want an alternative to hotels. Please inquire about long term discounts. Guest access In addition to the private cottage, guests are welcome to enjoy our backyard and fire pit. Other things to note We have two very lovable and lively Sheepadoodles named Winston and Blue. You will most likely see them romping in the yard and meet them when walking from your car to the cottage. However, they will not enter the cottage or come onto the cottage porch. All bedding and pillows are synthetic (except in the fall when we add a down comforter) as we are concerned about our guests who may have allergies. However, the upholstered chair in the cottage is down/feather filled. Please let us know if you have an allergy to down or feathers. We will remove the chair and comforter from the cottage. The cottage has a kitchenette with a small refrigerator and a microwave. There is no stove. However, there is a single burner hotplate, one small pot and one small skillet for reheating and light cooking. Please refrain from cooking foods with heavy odors or frying with grease as the cottage is small and not set up for cooking.
