Historic 1915 Bungalow. There are a total of nine houses on the property. They are in a residential neighborhood and are within walking distance to an ice cream shop, restaurant, bakery and gift shop. This property is also within the heart of some of Missouri's most popular state parks such as Elephant Rocks, Johnson's Shut-Ins, Taum Sauk Mountain and the Battle of Pilot Knob. Book a Float trip on the crystal clear Black River, enjoy hiking and waterfalls, come explore Southeast Missouri! The space You get the entire house to yourself. There is a private front porch with a porch swing. Outside there is common area that is shared between the other private bungalows including a swimming pool, pavilion, gas grill, charcoal grill, fire-pit with complimentary firewood, and a double pickle ball court (bring your own paddles/balls). Guest access There is a sports complex within walking distance that has a track, playground and hiking trails. Stouts Creek is also close by and has a nice swimming hole. Other things to note These are historic 1915 bungalow-style homes. They are not perfect but we are striving to make improvements all the time. If you have a love of history you will love these homes. We are modernizing the inside while leaving the historic outside. We don’t do a daily housekeeping at the bungalows, however, if you need anything please just ask, we will be more than happy to service your bungalow. If you need a place to put trash there is a roll-away trash container by the pool.
